My personal recap of today so far:
- Germany has played one of the worst matches ever, at least since I am watching football, and that's about 25 years now. Right after the kickoff you could see that there was zero energy in the German team. Why? I don't have a fucking clue, and with that came the Spanish idiot, probably the biggest joke so far in this year's WC, and a very significant lack of judgement. Because how in the world can Podolski take this penalty? Schweinsteiger made his last two shots (against Bosnia i Hercegovina) and he just had to take the ball from Podolski, period. That's what a vice captin, a leader does, take the ball and make the shot. But also Löw has to answer for a few mistakes today. Why in the world doesn't he bring on Caucau right after the goal? Khedira is one of the worst finishers in this team, he had to come off, because the Serbs were hapless on offense, so get Khedira out of the game and bring on Caucau. Oh yeah, and then he brings Caucau plus Marin for Müller and Özil? What the fuck was that all about? Anyhow, that was a complete 90 minute black out by the whole German team. Luckily enough it happened now, but I'm sure Ghana will fall victim to all of German's anger and the machine will be rolling again.
USA vs Slovenia was a great game and the Yanks definitely deserved to win and should have won, but again, the referee is a freaking joke.
So far the referees are really good with offside decisions, but everything else is pathetic.
