Is somewhere outhere.
It was great to see the Goons go through, but I'm still not convinced they
will win it,as they will face much sterner defenses in the next rounds.

Of course their defense isn't exactly great itself,so they will leak goals
too.But I think the games will be exciting though :)

Great win for United

I thought this would be a great game with both sides going for it , but United completely destroyed Milan with a class performance...

Great result 4-0

It's good to be the king...
United did what we knew they would, real shocker is that Lyon stuck it to Real Madrid

Yep - bye-bye CRonaldo...almost split my sides laughing at that result....:1orglaugh

It's the same thing with ACMilan....just loading up on "stars" and paying them $$$$$ doesn't appear to get the job done anymore.

I think Porto had the wrong gameplan. They looked like they expected the Goons to try to get a 1-0 win. The Goons came out ~on fire~ and Porto just never got on the same level. They clearly had defense issues--that little punk Fucile was getting clowned all game long by Arshavin. Fucile needs to stop with the dribble tricks when his team is down 4 goals  I thought Alvaro Parrera (the left back) played inspired football for Porto. It looked like he was left hung out to dry all game long.

Samir Nasri's goal = Goal of the Champion's League so far??

The Goons are good enough to win this thing. I would like to see Arsenal v Bayern in the next round and manure v Lyon.....

Sooo, Real spending billions of Euros on players like Ronaldo, Kaka and Benzema for what exactly? Well, let's see: first they were crashing out in the Copa del Rey against a third tier team from the outskirts of Madrid (AD Alcorcón) with a combined score of 1-4, and then this. Admittedly, Lyon hasn't got a bad team at all, but let's face it, the star power of Real should have been enough by miles, but now the "Galacticos" have crashed out for the sixth time in a row in that stage of the competition. I guess congratulations are in order for that "superb" economic work...ha ha ha ha ha ha! Best thing of all is that Real will now spend even more money on new players and then bankruptcy will follow quickly...:D

Yes, I hate this club, no, I despise it from the deepest of my heart, and I take great pleasure in all that failure Real has presented us so far this season. There's almost nothing better than watching that dumbfuck look on the face of douchebag Ronaldo when he was walking off the pitch. That right there was priceless...:glugglug:

And let's face it, they won't win La Liga either, so basically, all that money was for naught. Oh man...I'm loving it.

Thank you Real Madrid for showing us once again what a crappy, worthless and shitty club you are!

"Best" wishes from Munich

As far as Milan goes, well, ManU was just way too much to handle for them. If you got Rooney on your team right now, that's pretty much all you need. If he can carry this über form into the World Cup, I think England has a very good shot at winning it all in South Africa. With a striker like this on your team that could be all that it takes in such a competition. Anyhow, IMO this game today was way more impressing than the Arsenal win, because Porto was way too bad and weak.

Pelligrini gone by weekend methinks.

I thought hed be gone after that terrible Copa del Rey performance. Youd think theyd pull the trigger knowing their impatient ass history. They got rid of Schuster and Capello shortly after winning titles. Pellegrini on the other hand hasnt won nothing. On a side note, I think if he does get fired Valencia should consider hiring him. One last thing, Fuck Real :p

Sorry but is soccer, money doesn't make it all. You can buy all the greatest players of the world, if they can play together as a real team, you're not gonna make it.

Manchester, United, Chelsea, Barcelona, AC Milan, Inter Milan, etc. don't need to by 10 players/year. They maintain a solid base and reinforce it buy buying or or two players each year.

Real Madrid, individually, it's impressive. Collectively, it's kinda poor.
Facing Malaga, Santander or Zurich FC, Cristiano, Kaka, Guti, Granero & Co. can make it buy a few individual hight class moves. But they face a real good team with a real good team spirit, and great xperience of the top-class games, it's not nece ssary.
Milan was ofne of these teams. Real played them twice this year : 1 nil, 1 loss
Lyon was another one. Real played them twice : 1 nil, 1 loss

Will Real offload Benzema and Kaka this season?

ManU also has made questionable signings--Berbatov is a total bust. Tevez had attitude problems for them. That's $100 mil down the shitter. As a Goon, I can't say I really miss Adebayor :thefinger seeing as he so lit it up for ManCity :rofl2: this season...

Tevez was a 2 year loan, we didn't pay much for him except his wages. Plus, he was excellent in his first season.

On his 1st Man U. season, Tevez was in the staring eleven, he scored 14 goals on PL and Man U. went champs so I don't think it was a bad deal.

Benzema's a bad deal : 35 millions € and he's mostly stays on the bench while Higuain is on the field.

But if Benzema leaves and goes to Arsenal on the cheap Wenger would turn him into the next Henry.

Benzemas a bad signing, but only cuz they dont need him with their glut of forwards. I still feel hes a wonderful player. And there were other teams ready to pay that kinda money for him as well. Including my Barça.
