2009/2010 WORLD Football (EPL, Serie A, La Liga, Bundesliga, etc)

Can't wait for the Merseyside derby. Looks like we'll need our Greek colossus to have another good game at the back and hopefully Gerrard to return to form. Kuyt usually gets goals in these so here's hoping the record continues.

everton will look a lot better when hes back, a midfield of pienaar, fellaini, cahill, arteta, is just world class, just gotta sort that defence a little

Viola merda!!!

I think Wayne Bridge had an opportunity to become an English hero and he took the easy way out. Yes, it's easy and understandable to never want to be near John the Asshat terry ever again.

But big picture...the World Cup is the highest professional honor. It unites a nation. He could've basically cemented his legacy and ensured a Parliament career down the road if he came out and put "the bigger picture" ahead of his life.

I was quite impressed by their show against Roma.I think they'll have
an easier game against Standard :)

I have to admit, I wouldn't have dreamed of it, because Panathinaikos and Greek teams overall tend to be quite unimpressive in away games, but that three goal romp in Rome was absolutely great.

Well, being Austrian myself, and hating RB Salzburg to the bone, I was absolutely stoked about them being kicked out of the EL by an average team like Standard, because honestly, Salzburg was the better team in both games but due to utter stupidity, they were unable to convert their chances. And if you can't do that, your're out.

So, if PAO can win big at home the advantage is on their side.

RB Salzburg is visiting Rapid Wien on Sunday and this is gonna be green-white hell for Salzburg. Plus it could be a first decider on who wins the Championship in the end.

I'm going to throw this out there after having watched Arsenal/Stoke and seeing the tragedy of Aaron Ramsey's injury and the conduct of my Goons after...and seeing that poor Stoke player Shorcross walk off the pitch in tears.

Is it time for player dissent on the pitch to be eliminated from the game? I'd like everyone to answer that.
