2009/2010 WORLD Football (EPL, Serie A, La Liga, Bundesliga, etc)

But if Benzema leaves and goes to Arsenal on the cheap Wenger would turn him into the next Henry.

Wenger seems obsessed with Chamakh (?) I think, at the time, Wenger knew he would be 3rd pony in the bidding for Benzema. I think Benzema's handlers gave him shitty advice (yeah, go to Madrid, if you can beat out those other strikers cool, if not, :dunno:, well you'll be living in Madrid making $$$$$$$)

What if Arsenal actually wins the CL this year? I don't think Wenger will buy anyone in the offseason :1orglaugh:o:(

Is Wayne Rooney worth 80mil Euro? If Real Madrid actually sent over an offer of that sum for him, shouldn't MU take the money and run!!

No player is worth 80 mil & I doubt Real will be in any position to throw money about next season , the way they did this season , after there embarrassing 2nd round exit from the champions league , they have lost a fortune but no doubt the goverment and the banks will let them off like they usually do......

I want them to go bust , so bad

Now it's "squeaky-bum" time as Fergie likes to say...I don't think Arsenal has an "easy" run-in...

Arsenal have the easier of the 3 i think only Spurs and Man city should be difficult. Man U have Chelsea, Spurs, and Man City which could be difficult. Chelsea have Man U, Spurs, Aston Villa, and Liverpool which should be tricky. I think although Liverpool have had a shocker of a season they still might have a part to play in the title race.

I would like to see Arsenal win it , but I think Man U will do it after they beat Chelsea in a few weeks

They always come good about now & they have the experience to see it through

It'll be either Arsenal or Man Utd. Just don't see Chelsea doing it. Wenger and Ferguson have the management experience to go all the way in the premiership.

I think England are just getting the excuses ready for when they get put out lol , just wait till they get put out , yz have plenty already

When Ashley Cole got injured , he suddenly became the best left back in the world overnight...

JT being stripped of the captaincy

Wayne Bridge became one helluva left back as well when he decided he didnt want to play with England

Now Beckham , he will now be the best player ever when I pick up the papers in the morning...........

Heaven forbid if Wayne Rooney gets injured , they may as well not go then

This is gonny be good , cant wait to hear the excuses :1orglaugh

David Beckham out of the World Cup, with a ruptured achilles tendon.

I think Germany might do it this year , but yeah I fancy Spain & Brazil as well , I also think an African team could reach the semis maybe but which one I dont know , theres always a suprise team who do well

How is losing Beckham a blow to England? There are so many better options....Young, Lennon, Milner, Cole, Downing, Walcott, SWP, etc.

Beckham is a loss as he can make an impact from the bench, and noe of his replacements are particularly great anyway.

Lennon may miss out on World Cup due to his injury, but has a lack of a final ball anyway.
Young is good but not been great this season.
Milner has been used as a centre midfielder by Villa this season, although can play wide.
Cole isn't getting a game for Chelsea so surely can't be selected for his country.
Downing is a left footed version of Beckham.
SWP can't cross or shoot.
Walcott is better through the middle and his abilities are wasted wide in a 4 man midfield.
