I really only base my opinion on the USC/Beavs game and I really wasn't that impressed by Canfield. SC was up 21-9 at half, dominated the first half but did have to hold on for the win.

The Pac10 season stats do point toward Canfield being the statical passing leader of the conference. I think the Ducks matchup well against the Beavs. The Ducks are the best pass defending team in the conference and have racked up 30 sacks, #2 in the conference.

I do agree there. Ducks' pass D has been very good. And they're down 2 starters to boot. Do you have the Beavers' run D stats? Too lazy to look myself

The Beavs are the statistical top rushing D but only the 5th ranked total defense in the conference. Somehow the bruins are ranked ahead of OSU. The Beavs have given up a lot of passing TDs. That appears to be their weakness, oh, and they haven't racked up many sacks. They're one of the worst at sacking QBs.

Thanks. I think Oregon's balance, given Masoli's ability to throw, will soften that D up, and James and Masoli will have room to run.

Those numbers in quotes are with the 10 teaser points added or subtracted from the actual spread. So Stanford +10 becomes a coin flip. Houston -30 becomes Houston -20, and UCLA +13 becomes UCLA +23. The catch is you have to win all three games to win the bet, and it only pays 9 to 10 odds.

This seems like a very attractive bet for you. How could you lost this? Stanford as a coin flip is very nice. Houston only having to win by 20 instead of 30? Ucla getting an extra 10 pts? How would you lose this? I guess if the irish hang on for the win?

Somehow?
The only reason they've won 6 games is D. They have NO offense at all. Nada. Zip. Zero. Which means they'll probably hang 35 on USC :D
I know that the gutties have been gutted by injuries but c'mon...Chow and Weazel running the offense it seems like they'd be able to smoke-n-mirror their way. Chow and Weazel aren't defensive genuises, or are they?:dunno:

The game is in Eugene. I bet it's a huge scorefest. Oregon 53 OSU 40 kind of score...

Bodster--
Urm....nice that Stanford/nd is just a pick 'em for you:o I don't think that Stanford D can stop anybody tonight....

Oh don't you worry. I'll find a way :1orglaugh

Yep. That looks like the bet buster. As I feared they came to play.

You'd think, but seriously, they haven't got any impact players at running back or QB. None at all. Dorrell left the cupboard completely bare. Because of that Chow's been forced to operate within a very limited game plan - running between the tackles, various screen and short passes. None of the 3 Bruin QBs can throw downfield at all.

I think Jeremy Bates's shitty playcalling is helping the bruins tonight. For coming off a bye week we don't look like we did anything different for Offense. Atleast our pipsqueak linebackers showed up to play tonight:nanner:

Interesting defensive strategy by Pete Carroll tonight. Play weak zone on 3rd and forever, watch ucla convert. Blitz on 1st down...

Not to worry. The Bruins offense isn't athletic enough to take advantage.
So long as you guys take care of the ball you'll win. Just a matter of by how much.

Fumbles McKnight has returned and Barkley has regressed as the season progressed......sigh.

This game is not in the bag at all nor will there be any kind of blowout:mad: This feels like a 16-13 kind of game...

I would be looking good if it weren't for that fumble
Even three extra points could have come in very handy.
As it is I could still see the Trojans blowing this open in the 2nd half.

The bruin QBs are really gonna make you sweat Bodster...good for me but I think I'll be happy with a W and you win your bets:o

Barkley is keeping the bruins in it nicely to. He can't hit the broad side of a barn tonight...
