I'm totally aware that was a rivalry game..... but I just don't see McElroy leading the Tide to any scoring drive against the Gators. Alabama's only chance is defense and special teams(winning field position).

Arenas is the only threat that I would fear, as an opponent. He really is amazing with the ball in his hands. Julio Jones is another all-hype player. I think he had some great catches as a freshman, but he has slumped badly this season. I'm sure he's not much of a practice guy. The only "damage" he does this year is on little wheel routes or 5 yrd out routes. This means he can't actually run real WR routes:dunno: Maybe he'll learn some routes over the summer. The NFL doesn't draft WRs who can't run routes, not in the first round anyway....
I think for the sake of sanity and normalcy--Florida must lose today. We have heard enough of the "Tebow is Hero/Savior/God" bullshit for 2 years. That story has been done. The story that needs to happen is "Tebow the Resurrected" and that can only happen if he loses today, in his last home game, in front of the worshippers....:thefinger I hope the Mystique of Bobby Bowden shines brighter the than the legend of Tebow...

It is name-your-score day in the Swamp, sad to say. Florida looks bigger, faster and more organized than FSU. I know Ponder is out for the Noles, but the Noles defense is getting bent over and doggied right on national television. The CBS announcers have it right; how could the Noles NOT prepare for the option to Hernandez? The Gators have only been running that like since September
The chasm between the Noles and National Title Contenders looks massive..
The Canes are closing that chasm, but FSU is going to have to basically escort Bobby Bowden to his retirement party after this season or they risk falling not just further behind the Gators, but maybe South Florida:eek:
If the Gators decide to play the starters in the second half...this could be an epic beating....

Even though they aren't my favorite team I think UCLA's classic unis (which they still wear at times) with the old school script are the best around. http://cdn.bleacherreport.com/images_root/slideshows/811/slideshow_81191/display_image.jpg I liked them even better when the helmets were just plain gold without any script.
