Are not injuries part of the game for both sides? I surely wish Colt was in the game. Alabama brought unusually aggressive pressure, and he paid the price. Now the whole team is paying the price.

If the injury were to the Alabama quarterback, would your objection be the same?

Yes. I feel that when one plays for the championship in any sprts that you want to play the best of the best. IMO people will always be thinking "what if". Just my:2 cents:

if texas could protect their QB then maybe Colt would not have gotten hurt, don't say Alabama won because of a freshman QB. Don't forget that the Texas receivers aren't catching passes. Monroe let that shovel pass bounce right off his fingers, not Gilbert's fault.

Protecting Colt does not have anything to do with it they were doing it.It was a called run that got him hurt.

Never the less I see once the nerves calmed down the game got better then Colt McCoy got hurt noe i can't say how that changed the game but it seemed the texas D lost just a little swag about them:dunno:

Fuck all y'all. The game was all Texas until Colt got hurt. Without McCoy, it just isn't a fair fight. Good for you Alabama....beating a team with a true freshman at QB in the national title game. Set Tuscaloosa on fire tonight.

But we did not know that until he played like i said this is Gibert's team now I understand he is a freshman and it is hell to make your firt start in the national Champion game but there will be some good come out of this Texas ain't dead yet and that is the scary part
