This is one of the sloppiest, ugliest games I've seen. It's as bad as the USC/ASU game which was a complete snorefest....

Matt Barkley should've been pulled weeks ago. He stinks at the moment. I really would like to see Mitch Mustain....

I think an impressive bowl victory would probably take the sting out of this season. We haven't had one of those in a while.

CBS just reported that Bob Stoops is flying to ND. If this is true, this must be a way for ND to ~burn~ ol' Charlie....

I really thought Bob Stoops was a total longshot for ND. Oklahoma is a power program with equal tradition to ND, imo....why would he leave?

Bob Stoops grew up in the Ohio area, so it's probably his dream to coach a Big 10 team or Notre Dame.

To be honest, I hope he leaves. I think OU needs a change.

My dream scenario would be for Mike Shanahan to come coach the Oklahoma Sooners. But that's just a dream.

Yeah Neuheisel's time out was basically pointless, but that was still a low class move by Carroll, imo.

After some contemplation about the end of last night's USC/ucla game, I still say it was not running up the score, but it was one rival responding to the disrespect of another rival. Did anyone who actually watched that boring game (Bodie excepted) actually think that ucla would even score if they used all their times out and received a punt with probably 3 seconds on the clock :dunno: Why did it matter to end the game with the ball? How is calling times out at the end of a game--competing? ucla competed on their last drive, went for it on 4th down and turned the ball over on downs. That is competing.

The bigger picture is that Slick Rick Neuweazel needs to look in the mirror and figure out why his teams suck. I guess he's on a 5 yr rebuilding project when the norm for rebuilding Big Boy programs is now 3 years? Are their any bruin fans around who have put Slick Rick on the 2010 ~Hot Seat~?
