Little disapointed with TCU. It does mean my Gators will finish #2 in the polls in all likelihood unless Bama loses a close one.

Over on ESPN News...someone is actually talking about the game tonight. Interesting conversation about Boise tweaking their defense to stop TCU's run--going to a 3-2-6 formation.....
Someone maybe send Jesse Palmer and "Coach Corso" the tape of this post-game presser so they can be better prepared next year when they (GASP!) have to talk about the Broncos again....

Boise St. and TCU should schedule home and homes every season.....seems like the natural making of a new rivalry.
It would help the winner in an effort to get to the national championship game easier than scheduling middle of the road BCS schools...who may or may not have good seasons.:2 cents:

Boise State simply needs to leave the WAC---go "Rogue" and schedule whomever they want to.
It's funny how we preach this *vision* of the American Dream---working hard, getting a chance to make your mark, everyone's equal in the eyes of society....blah blah blah...
And when it all comes down to it, this American Dream is just sham rhetoric meant to keep the masses in line and the "powers" in charge.....

Didn't Boise State try and schedule a lot of the tough top division teams, and keep getting refused? I can see why teams don't want to play them. There isn't too much more they can do, short of the NCAA forcing certain matchups or just doing the sane thing and going to a playoff. Maybe in each year Boise does good is a year they get closer in helping to bring down the BCS. If we are lucky we will look back years from now as that being one of their greatest legacies.

Boise State should not leave the WAC. Sure theyre the class football team. But theyre towards the bottom in just about every other sport. Fresno State, Nevada, Hawaii, and Louisiana Tech are all superior athletic programs in that conference. People seem to forget that football aint the only sport that these conferences compete in.
Instead of going rogue, Boise should jump to the Mountain West and then they could play BYU, TCU, and Utah every year

So true. Congrats to your Broncs, t-rock but as I stated earlier, their win will only mean that they beat another team who had no shot at the national title either.
The NCAA and the BCS suck.

I have a funny feeling that the Broncos will not finish #2 in the nation even though there will only be 2 unbeaten teams left after the 7th.
You probably should review the WAC Conference site a little bit more. Boise State women's soccer just won the WAC and went to the NCAA, their tennis programs flirt with national rankings (the men's this year, the women 2 years ago), I think they have a respectable wrestling program too. It ain't ALL football, but, yes, football is king. We can point to plenty of teams in plenty of power conferences that really don't offer much than either football or basketball success. How's that Wazzu Coug track n field program...
How bout Beaver soccer? Boise State should leave the WAC and go Rogue.....that is the answer. They could then keep all their bowl money and not have to share/prop up the WAC:dunno:
