they provide a bit of twist and new gameplays in games too i would hate if FF,MGS,GOW type games started to implement multiplayer just because its the COOL thing i am happy with what GOW3,MGS4 did, a bit disappointed with FF13 though but atleast they didn't sell-out for the multiplayer

+1 AGREE on the multiplayer part in these games today,most gamers just skip the campaign and go all out on online it is good for a while but i just don't get how can people spend so many hours without an aim or motivation to just shoot-kill shoot-kill games

there is no way this game will have a campaign that big even games like FF 13 don't have that big campaign let alone DNF also you have to take in account that they didn't spent all that time on a single engine when new systems and consoles come,you have to rebuild the engine,they couldn't use...
