X-Men Origins: Wolverine

Well seeign as how Deadpool is such a popular character they might make a spin offo movie of him. They are talks of doing an Origins of Magneto in the works. Deadpool might get his.
As for your sig,it's very cool.

Thanks dude!
as per Deadpool film it's been in works for at least 5 years, Wade himself wanted Ryan Renolds to play him

Actually Wolverine is 5'3". He's a short guy but not a dwarf.

And it's unrealistic for Hollywood to find a short guy to play Wolverine. They do want to attract audience to the movies but is there a guy in Hollywood who can be that short and still charismatic enough to draw people to the movies? Unless they use the technique in Lord of the Rings to shorten people using movie magic it's not gonna happen.

yup,you are right. That is his height. So says Marvel. However I have Uncanny X-Men 325 when Gene Nation and the X-Men fight and at the end of the comic Storm is holding Wolverine's hand and walking with him,the artist rendition showed Wolverine half the height of Storm!
Yes,HALF! It was Joe Madueira(hope I spelt his name right)

Oh and by the way!
If anyone here knows who Maverick (now known as Agent Zero) is, you will know that he's German.

Well not anymore he's now Chinese - American! go figure huh?

My issue with this movie Sabertooth played by Liev Schreiber
Im sorry but Sabertooth was actually played by the rigth guy Tyler Mane in the first movie, that is what he is suppose to be, that is what he has always been a Huge, Feral, version of Logan of Wolverine his claws are not adamantium but that does no mean they are any less deadly.
Liev Schreiber is a great character actor I really do like the stuff I have seen him in but he is just totaly wrong for the part.
On the other hand I do have one other issue and that is having Emma Frost NOT being a Telepath, WTF is with that!
Now on the up side Ryan Renolds is Wade Wilson he is a huge fan of our favorite merc and has been mentioned before, in true DeadPool breaking the 4th wall tradition. DeadPool has actually mentioned that HE wants Renolds to play him 'in the movie'.
Now many are not aware that it is almost a 100% certainty that there will be a DeadPool movie because Ari Arad's son is prolly the biggest DeadPool fan of us all. Ryan Renolds was actually picked by Ari to play the part of DeadPool, after Renolds agent bugged Ari a little. The story of DeadPool starts with Wade Wilson though and that is the character that we are going to see the most of in this movie.

Would it surprise you to learn they were going to have Jean-Claude VanDam play the part of Wolverine untill Hugh Jackman auditioned. I'm actually glad they went with Jackman.

I guess the movie's supposed to have alternate endings? I heard there are 3 after the credits scenes that will be shown respectively in different theaters. One involving Wolverine, one with Deadpool, and one with Stryker.

Really? Never heard of that one before, but I'll take your word for it.

Only other actor's I can recall that I personally remember hearing anything about being considered for the part of Wolverine back in '99 was Dougray Scott and Russell Crowe. I'm aware that Hugh Jackman wasnt Bryan Singer's first choice.

DAMN, SyN1zt3Ru. You really ARE a Deadpool fan if you own ALL of his comics! :glugglug:

I just saw the movie this afternoon and it was great. Great action, great effects. You don't have to take your thinking cap with you and I suggest you actually leave it at home. Just enjoy the ride!

actually Sabretooth claws in the comics are adamantium. They werent before, but they are now. The first Sabretooth was ok in the movie, but he didnt even talk, they messed up his part.

Actually Dougray Scott was hired and set to play Wolverine but filming on Mission Impossible 2 didn't finish and he had no choice but to bow out of X-Men. That's how Hugh Jackman got hired.

I just rewatched the trailer. At 1:37 you see Wolverine as a boy with his claws out. That answers the questions of A) Would they follow the origin story in the comic about his being born with retractable bone claws, and B) We already know--in keeping with the movies--that he gets his adamantium fusion much later. Later in the vid you do indeed see a child who looks a lot like a young Storm(?).

Well I guess there are enough spoilers in this thread...
I saw it, I would see it again to catch the clip after the credits of Wolverine, we got the one with our Favorite Merc here.
I have to say that at least they did not Fuck with the Origin of Wolverine they actually held the line which is something Bryan Singer would NOT have done.
The scene with young Storm that we have seen pieces of in the trailers was removed along with a lot of other stuff (like another scene with Wade Wilson) that would have helped the movie a lot.
It seems that from the notes and producers comments that about 10 minutes of footage was removed and about 5 minutes of footage edited from the theater release to get the PG-13 rating that the studio asked for after the 'leak' of the movie. We may get to see the R rated version (intended version) on blueray.

BTW folks Bryan Singer was ASKED to leave the X3 film by Ari Arad because he was just butchering the characters, unfortunatly too much had already been done by Bryan Singer and there was not enough time to re-do it.
When Warner Bros got Bryan Singer to do Superman returns DC got with Warner Bros and put in his contract that he could not put any of his 'personal politics' in the story and could not make any changes to the lines of the screen play. If Marvel had done the same thing when Fox got Bryan Singer to do the first X-Men movies they prolly would have turned out much better.

Yea, Dougray Scott was going to be hired but he broke 2 ribs on MI2 (not that they didnt get finished) and they went with back with Jean-Claude, They hired Hugh Jackman a few days before they got started with the the story boarding.

He is not the only one...

I have every X-Men and Wolverine published up to 2000 as well but I got every appearance of Deadpool. That includes New Mutants #98, his first appearance.

Yeah I like him a lot lol!

And It's taken me nearly 10 years to get em' all coz it's really hard to find any here in Australia hardly anyone knows who he is!

The movie is good, waaaay better than X3. maybe even the best one in the series. they totally fucked up deadpool, but oh well. the movie was called WOLVERINE, after all, and they got him right, so that's all that matters.

Is Hugh Jackman particularly popular to Hispanics or something? The press junket noted that he started the premier at a Town in Arizona and in Mexico and Costa Rica I think. That's a little different than usual. I was trying to guess if maybe parts of the film take place in Mexico or something, but I can't really tell.
