X-Men Origins: Wolverine

It looks so damn silly. Him jumping up and stabbing at the helicopter???? I've seen a million people bashing it and I can't get that silly part out of my head. Also, Liev Schreiber is miscast in this, also Jackman and him look too similar in their fight scenes to make any contrast. I'll definitely pass on this one.

Moving to a trailer in Fife, AL.
I might want to wait for the DVD but with two kids under ten, I will see it the first week. it will still be better than most movies out this summer, it just has higher expectations.

Liev's performance is actually what I am most looking forward to with Wolverine. Personally, from what I've seen, he's certainly more Victor Creed than Tyler Mane was in Bryan Singer's X-Men. Though that's not Tyler's fault.

I read a cool article in Wizard this month about the X-Men Origins: Wolverine Movie anyone else excited about this one! I am a comic book junkie personally and I am looking forward to this one!

The official line up so far looks like this:
Wolverine played by Hugh Jackman
Deadpool played by Ryan Reynolds,
The Blob played by Kevin Durand,
Gambit played by Taylor Kitsch,
Silver Fox played by Lynn Collins,
Agent Zero played by Daniel Henney,
Wraith played by Will I Am,
Barnell Bohusk played by Dominic Monaghan,
William Stryker played by Danny Huston,
Sabertooth played by Liev Schreiber, and
Emma Frost TBA!
I am most excited about Deadpool!
Post your opinions!

I've never run across one but I've heard there's nothing hotter than a gorgeous comic book nerd ;)

Hey saw it 2 days ago in Australia, its awesome but for those who love Deadpool (like myself) prepare to be dissapointed

Yeah I've already heard that I'll be disappointed about Deadpool but it will lead to the inevitable Deadpool movie so that's got to be good. For now I look forward to seeing Wolverine part 4 this weekend.

Yeah u will hope so a bout his own film! but the way it ends, they're going to have to explain alot.

let me know when you have seen it darkwarrior

Yeah I also hate what they did to Deadpool. He's my favorite hero right now and I hate his Mutant XI looks. Maybe Ryan Reynolds will petition Fox for a movie based on comic book Deadpool that'll be part comedy part action (with without The Last Action Hero goofiness). All I know is that Fox is good at fucking up Marvel properties so hopefully the license will go back to Marvel in the near future. As for the Wolverine movie I'll get the DVD but skipping the movie at the theater.

don't get me wrong the movie is awesome, they just stuffed up my all-time favourite character.

the way i c it is, coz of the healing factor Deadpool will lose all other powers. and start a fresh for the Deadpool film

Well the previous X-Men movies has a lot uf unfinished business to settle. The past life of Wolverine ws one of them. I just think it was interesting to know how Wolverine became what he was. Its kinda making the missing pieces come together.

And I do think it is much better than X-Men-III.

Here is my take on it. I lvoe X-Men. Gambit is my fave. However the movie does no justice if you are a fan of the comics. None of the X-Men movie were true to the comics and this one is no different. Wolverine is too tall to begin with, you know that Wolverine's height is a little over 3 feet? He's very short. And this movie crammed too many people who dont fit into it. Gambit was cast wrong. This movie is for pure entertainment. Dont watch it and think about the comic.

Hence why sabretooth ALWAYS calls him runt! lol

I know but I still wanted Deadpool to be way more acurate than he was

I too love X-men my sig features Mr. Sinister for gods sake

Well seeign as how Deadpool is such a popular character they might make a spin offo movie of him. They are talks of doing an Origins of Magneto in the works. Deadpool might get his.
As for your sig,it's very cool.

Actually Wolverine is 5'3". He's a short guy but not a dwarf.

And it's unrealistic for Hollywood to find a short guy to play Wolverine. They do want to attract audience to the movies but is there a guy in Hollywood who can be that short and still charismatic enough to draw people to the movies? Unless they use the technique in Lord of the Rings to shorten people using movie magic it's not gonna happen.
