X-Men Origins: Wolverine

Now that Deadpool has a movie coming I wonder if there going to let him break the "Fourth Wall" like he did in X-Men Origins: Wolverine at the end of the credits.
I think that would be alot of fun to see actually. It's not something they have to really have to hit us over the head with repeatedly, but a few instances of him breaking the '4th wall' might be fun.

Agreed, HAS to be done but they can't go too over the top with it!
But without it, it won't be a DeadPool movie! :D

I don't really want to spoil it.... But can someone say what the endings were? I think it was mentioned that there were three of them? all we've heard on here so far, to my knowledge is the deadpool one. (deadpool picks up his head and it opens it's eyes, looks at the audience and says "shh.")

There's only two. The one with Wolverine in Japan which sets up his whole samurai storyline in the comics, and the other with Deadpool's hand crawling over to get his head like you said.

Ryan Reynolds said he won't do the movie UNLESS it's a 100% faithful adaptation to the comics, so I expect we'll see everything that's classic Deadpool.

Even so I've got a bad feeling Fox will fuck this up some how. While Deadpool's supporting cast in the comics are great, I doubt they'll use it to the fullest potential. If it were up to me, had Cable been introduced, this would be a Cable and Deadpool movie (which would be the ultimate buddy cop superhero movie IMO). Deadpool needs a straight man to play off of too for his comedy to work. Plus it would give them a lot more big name villains to fight with the addition of Cable, like Mr. Sinister or even Apocalypse.

Yes but I'm pretty sure Fox will have nothing to do with it, just like Iron Man and Hulk it will be produced exclusively by Marvel Studios.....therefore it should be insane.

If they don't have Weasel AND T-Ray it won't work

Fox has the rights to any of the X-Men related characters, Deadpool being one of them, I believe. Fox sadly has everything to do with it, probably why Ryan Reynolds is so adamant they do a faithful Deadpool film (because you know just like the Fox X-Men films, something will be altered dramatically).

I'm sure they'll have Weasel though along with most of the Deadpool Inc. crew (hopefully), I'm more concerned about what villain he'll face.

Our Merc is not an X-man, never was an X-man.
Fox has about as much claim to Deadpool as DC does.
He has appeared in X-books but that does not make him an X-man.
There is also a limit on how long Fox has the rights which I do believe is running out soon.

Apparently the X-Men rights would revert back to Marvel in 2012 if Fox weren’t putting them into good use, so it looks like Fox are hoping to turn X-Men: First Class into a trilogy, along with possible Wolverine sequels if the first is a success next May. There’s also X-Men Origins: Magneto in the works and a possible Deadpool spin-off. Marvel won’t be getting them rights back anytime soon!

Why would Marvel want to to go with a different distributer? You really think that anyone else would have made more money off of it? What comic books nerds fail to realize is that it doesn't matter how faithful it is to the comic, because the studio knows that they will be going to see it anyway and get their money, even if they hate it. So again, do you really think that anyone else could have made X-films that attracted more blockbuster movie-goers? I doubt it. I think that they have been as successful as they ever could be.

PS. Don't take that as an insult. As a comic nerd myself I have learned to accept the fact that comic book movies are going to be made by people that seem to have virtually no knowledge of the source material, and I try to judge their cinematic merits on it's own level.

I saw it today and I liked it but it was still a disappointment for me. I just wasn't really excited as I was when X-Men and X-Men 2 were released and all though I think it was a pretty decent movie and miles better than X-Men 3 I'm just bored to death of Wolverine and probably would have preferred X-Men Origins: Cyclops.

I think the first maybe half of the movie was awesome, the last half hour or so was stupid. After hearing they"re making a Deadpool movie and seeing Cyclops wrongly involved WHY CAN'T THEY DO CYCLOPS RIGHT AND GIVE HIM A MOVIE? He has a cool backstory, just not as interesting as Wolverine and Magneto.
Sorry for the caps, I'm just frustrated. :2 cents:
