phew! thats a load off. but, now it will 4 more years until he gets the belt back.
The Undertaker and Mr. Kennedy are both injured which is why they had to drop the Championship and Money In The Bank respectively. The cage match ends in a draw with Undertaker and Batista both exiting the cage at the same time. This prompts Mark Henry to come out and ****** the Undertaker and then Edge comes out to cash in the Money In The Bank. Edge spears the Undertaker and is now the new World Champion. I'm not making this up, this happened at the taping and will air this friday on Smackdown.
Sorry, I didn't read this. I just went right to the end. It looks like Kennedy will only be out for 6 to 8 weeks rather than 6 to 8 months but Undertaker will definately be out 6 to 8 months.

I would have rather seen Mark Henry or Benoit or Finlay. I **** Edge and I do not think that he is deserving to be world champion.The same thing goes for the WWE championship on RAW. Why the heck is Khali the #1 contender? His in the ring skills need some serious help, and so does his mic skills. What I want to see is HBK get the title, which would set up a fantastic feud with HHH, when HHH returns

both of us won't be watching Smackdown for the next while. Even though Benoit is on Smackdown (which he should not be) does not make me want to watch it, especially if he is not used right

There are a lot of WWE wrestlers that cant pull off certain moves without them looking totally fake and staged, and then there is Mark Henry. Just because you are a big guy, does no mean you are a decent wrestler
I only watched one match on Smackdown tonight, and even with the Undertaker in it it still was not a match to write home about (these days this does not surprise me), anyways after the match when Mark Henry came out and attacked the Undertaker it was so funny. Both times he did a splash on the undertaker in the wring, it was so obvious that he never even touched the Undertaker.
I liked Mark Henry when he was actually th worlds strongest man, during the time Stephanie was Smackdown GM. Now he totally need to work on his in the ring skills

Ratings bump. May is a sweeps month. Too bad that 'Taker always has these short ass title reigns. It's always either a transition or he gets injured.
Vince wanted to beat the dirt sheets to it. Stephanie and Triple H want WWE.com to be more kayfabe while Vince wants it to be less kayfabe. The secrets of what goes on behind the scenes always get out as well as the taping results everyweek. That's how I knew. Rather than having fans go to wrestling sites to find out the results (especially something this big) WWE.com ****** the title change. We may end up seeing more things like this in the future.

It was a good idea. I have not watched Smackdown in moths, and when I found out that Edge became the new champ, I watched Smackdown
BTW... what is Kayfabe?
In the business when you want to keep things under wraps or when outsiders are around and you want to "protect the business" you use kayfabe as a code word.

here is an idea. since raw doesnt get ****** until maybe an hour before nine pst, make smackdown a same day taping as well. now there will not be as many spoilers.
