Reason I ask is do you remember the part where Heyman talks about Terry Funk having to and willingly wanting to put over the younger talent so that there will be a generation and future for wrestling?
I believe that is what they are doing with Benoit and probably a few other wrestlers soon.

yes i do. and thats what regal is for. benoit should be a world title contender. not a u.s. title holder and jobber to up and comers. benoit has been passed over again and again for the title all because of his boring mic skills. bret hart wasnt that good on the mic either. then again benoit was after his time.

Regal is very good for wrestling rookies in their first few matches to put them over. Regal also plays a very good heel.
Benoit know doubt should be a world title contender. I agree. The thing is with no mic skills, no cool entrance (like undertaker) I dont think he will last long as a champ. I hope he does because I like Benoit in the ring.
If you think about it who would you rather beat in a match to make a name for yourself? Benoit or Regal. Benoit is the bigger name and it means more to beat Benoit.
Brett Hart actually has character in the ring. Benoit is just a straight shooter and a straight wrestler. He doesnt entertain like Hart.
I am probably one of the few who is strictly entertained by Benoit's flat out wrestling skills.

Jesus where do I start? What a night for wrestling!
Things that made me laugh my ass off:
-Cryme Time jacking everyone, and then beating up "Tubby" Meguiar with a bat then jacking his walet.
-Kennedy yelling in the face of Edge
-Fans chanting "Holy Shit, Holy Shit" and WWE replaying it 3 times on live TV after Khali treated HBK like a biatch.
-John Cena saying in an interview "You want some come get some" to Khali. Watch your mouth Cena, your racially confused mouth is writing checks your body can't cash. Last time you said that to Khali he bounced your ass off the canvas like a basketball.
The Hardys had a great match and showed some sweet athletics and good moves in the win they had.
I would have liked to see more of the Orton v Cena match being that Orton is my #2 current favorite wrestler.
I guess my favorite thing for tonight, being of course that I am a Great Khali fanboy, is when Khali did his neck hoist back slam with HBK right through the announce table. While I would have prefered them to do it on the Spanish announce table like they always used to in the old days, it was awesome to watch. All hail the Great Khali!!!!!!

I bet he will lose it quickly. Probably to Mr. Ken himself. Looks like WWE made a slick move to remove the title from the Undertaker without damaging his "Im godly and no-one can stop me!" image :nanner:
