WWE names Paul Heyman and Eric Bischoff Executive Directors of Raw and SmackDown LIVE

WWE has named Paul Heyman as Executive Director of Monday Night Raw and Eric Bischoff as Executive Director of SmackDown LIVE, newly created positions reporting directly to WWE Chairman & CEO Vince McMahon.

In their executive roles, Heyman and Bischoff will oversee the creative development of WWE’s flagship programming and ensure integration across all platforms and lines of business. The creation of these roles further establishes WWE’s ability to continuously reinvent its global brand while providing two distinct creative processes for its flagship shows.

With more than 30 years of experience in the sports-entertainment industry, Heyman served as President of ECW from 1993 to 2001, securing pay-per-view distribution for the company as well as a national cable television deal with TNN. After his time with ECW, Heyman joined WWE’s Creative team and is widely credited with helping launch the careers of many current and former WWE Superstars.

Bischoff is a former WCW President and New York Times bestselling author. During his WCW career, Bischoff oversaw the signing of some of the biggest names in sports-entertainment and helped create and develop the nWo storyline. He was also instrumental in securing a television deal for WCW Monday Nitro on TNT and WCW Thunder on TBS. After WCW, Bischoff co-founded Bischoff-Hervey Entertainment, a production company that launched TV reality shows and mobile games.

Both of these guys will throw their hands up in the air the first time Vince changes one of their angles or the finish of a match and then they will start booking to please Vince and just become the same as all the other writers they have now.

Terrible, terrible RAW this week after a decent one last week. The Seth and Becky stuff is awful. The Maria and Mike stuff is even worse. I could almost hear crickets during Ricochet's in ring promo. The ending with Roman and an unmasked Cedric Alexander didn't exactly get me pumped up for this Sunday.

I thought Extreme Rules was decent. I'm also not crazy about Brock holding the belt again but I did enjoy Cesaro/Black(my favorite match of the show), Stroman/Lashley(brutal hoss battle that ended with a bump on a mattress), and AJ/Ricochet(good action).

I'll check out the fallout on RAW tonight. Where is Bray Wyatt though?

Wow did they really zoom in on Lacey's ass at Extreme Rules? I guess WWE is really moving away from the PG era like they claimed. Either way, WWE will not win the war against AEW. Brock holding the title again? Really? I thought Heyman and Bischoff were in charge now? So much for that. This fall when AEW starts airing, even WWE fans will start chanting AEW! AEW! AEW! and WWE will have to edit out those chants.

Well,Do you think SummerSlam will turn out to be good or just end up being SummerShit?
One thing to look for is that Toronto crowds are notorious for cheering for the wrestlers that the WWE does not want them cheering for.You will know this when one of the announcers starts throwing out the term “bizzarro world” by way of Vince McMahon’s instructions through the announcer’s headset.
I wouldn’t be surprised to see them boo Goldberg and cheer Ziggler.

Smackdown was lit tonight. The NXT invasion/takeover was a success and I really enjoyed it! Adam Cole vs Daniel Bryan was a fantastic match. I really wanted Bryan to win but that would make NXT look weak so I understood why they let Cole win. Plus he's the NXT champion so it makes sense. Raw vs Smackdown vs NXT is going to be an amazing war for brand supremacy. On another note, Tegan Nox is freakin' sexy! I only started watching NXT a month ago and I fell in love with Tegan Nox. She is very attractive and pretty and she's an excellent wrestler. I just kept admiring her body and she was nice and thick, especially from the waist down. An amazing ass, thick beautiful thighs and legs.

Last night was a damn good improv job given the circumstances. Judging by that opening segment, and all that stalling Heyman did, I think Creative was still writing the show until about 8:10, right about the time Paul and Shawn appeared on screen. But it sure gave a nice lift to the Wednesday night crew, which will help with the build to Survivor Series.

I'm with you 100% on Tegan. I swear, she and Toni Storm could be long lost sisters! :flame: :flame:

How much fish could Bobby Fish fry if Bobby Fish could fry fish? For those of you who saw NXT Matt Riddle was hilarious when he said that. I was laughing my ass off. I don't even watch Raw anymore. I watch Smackdown sometimes but I never miss a NXT show. NXT is so much more entertaining and has way more talented wrestlers than the main roster.
