What is the latest BAD film you watched?

Ken Wattanabe is really fucking cool, though.

One of my favorites. I wish he would find that role that put him up on "superstar status" to the American public. He's a great actor who is always solid, he's been in a bunch of films and has played some pretty amazing parts, but I feel like most of the American public is like, "Ken Watanabe? Who the fuck is THAT?"

Last night I watched part of --- Once Upon a Time in Mexico
Yeah, I watched part of it until I had enough and changed the channel.

I didn't think it was bad as much as not as good as it's fan hype. Watching it for the first time my thought was "the director really idolizes Sergio Leone."

I guess it shouldn't have surprised me. I'm not an Antonio Banderas Fan. I don't hate him or anything like that. He's just not an actor with whom I'll go, "Oooooo, ______ is in this movie. This is very likely going to be a good movie." And I just don't see Antonio Banderas as a Bad Ass or an Action Hero.

It's reminiscent of not too long ago when I saw, I think it was No Mercy with Richard Gere as a Cop. Somehow I just couldn't see, buy or even rent Richard Gere as a Cop. He was great in Pretty Woman as Edward and in An Officer and a Gentleman as Mayo, but as a Cop in No Mercy? It just wasn't working. Needless to say, I didn't finish seeing that movie.

Terminator Salvation was crap.

It was the Windows ME / Windows Vista of the entire Terminator movie series ... the first one to suck.
Hopefully the series gets back on track with Terminator Genisys.

Watched Godzilla the 2014 version and thought it was pretty bad. Predictable plot, undeveloped characters, and so dark it was hard to see what was happening. With a low budget movie I could understand battles with/between creatures to hide the weak special effects. But $160 million should have paid for good enough CGI for daylight scenes that hold up.

2012
It sure seemed longer than the already long 2½ hours or however super long it was. Several times I thought about just pulling the plug on it. Like when 10:00PM came up and as per the Progress Indicator on the Media Player it sure seemed like there was still about another fucking half hour to go, I sure thought about just cutting my losses and watching the News instead. I didn't, but now in hind sight I SHOULD have. :cussing:

Have you ever seen Internal Affairs? I'm not a fan of Richard Gere at all. And while Internal Affairs wasn't a great, great movie, in the role of a slime-ball cop, he wasn't bad.

The title "Internal Affairs" certainly does ring a bell. I'd have to bet that I've almost assuredly HAVE seen it. But, I'm drawing a complete blank as to so much as remembering 1 micro second of the plot. Maybe if I saw it again it would jar my memory of it. Who knows? Maybe once watching it I'd agree that in that one Richard Gere wasn't bad playing the part of a Cop. It's possible that it was just in No Mercy in which Richard Gere playing a Cop didn't work for me.

Last night I saw Howling II: ... Your Sister Is a Werewolf. I've seen this film many times first as a kid in the theater way back in 1985. I was naive then expecting a nice follow-up to the original The Howling. Now I look at the film differently enjoying the camp, drooling over Sybil Danning's perfect bronze knockers, and having sympathy for what Christopher Lee must have gone through.
