I thought the first one "Olympus has fallen" was okish, simple story but it was tolerable if you don't expect much.
I went to see London has Fallen with the same expectation but geez it was way worse.
The story was even more dumbed down to the point it was non existent.
If you like explosions then this might be your thing, if not then skip this movie.

I ceased watching Hollywood movies many years ago, so the most recent bad one I remember is Shaft with Samuel L. Jackson. That movie was hyped so much that I ended up going to see it at a theater when it was first released. "WTF am I watching? I paid for this?" would be a good summation of the experience.

"English, motherfucker! Do you speak it!?"

At least I became much more selective about which movies I would watch after that and read reviews beforehand.

Currently playing on HBO is PAN which is looking like it will be the most expensive bomb ever. They took the Victorian era ********'s story and wrote a prequel set in 1940! They also threw in the 18th Century pirate Blackbeard with no explaination. Clearly they had a few script versions and decided to take what they thought were the best of each. So they ended up with 3 or 4 entertaining scenes and mesh of a story linking them together.

IDK but the movie was fucking awful.

I really tried to enjoy "Tucker and Dale vs Evil," purely because Alan Tudyk was on the matinee but it really wasn't entertaining to me. Someone suggested it because it flips the premise of the slasher flick but the characters were too stock and some of the dialogue was ******. There's a sequel in production, and I may give it a chance. Hell, I may even give the original another look but I doubt it.
