Here's my predictions for the 1/4s.....

Portugal to beat Czechs,Germany to beat the Greeks,Spain to beat France & Italy to win on penalties

Portugal beat Czech Rep. 1-0 and through to the semi finals where they will face either Spain or France.

Again, I didn't see the football I expected to see. Portugal was by far the better team over the Czech Republic, but with this way of playing they won't beat Spain (if they win their 1/4 final)... I'm a little disappointed after tonight.
And what's worse, I don't expect to see better football in the next 1/4 final...

Portugal's Coach Paulo Bento pushed some slow rhythm into the team. He was constantly yelling at players to play slowly.

We adapt our style of play against our opponent, that's why we pressed like hell against holand and kept our cool against czechs.... but you will see, if we face Spain, that Portugal won't go home without honor and may even surprise.

David against Goliath, that's all I can say about the the match Germany vs Greece. One way football was to be expected and that's waht we got. A weak match, and the best team won, not only in ranking, but also on the field and that showed, 90 minutes long...

....well, next match with us should be against the UK or Italy ....somehow I´d prefer the UK . Hard but fair . So hopefully the UK will win .

And a BIG * thank you * to the greece newspapers + international press. You motherfuckers wanted to tell us how to play soccer + how you´ll kick us to the moon ? The result was shown yesterday ......and normally there was an 6:2 or 7:2 in the air . So your newspapers are the dumbest AZZHOLES on the planet ......looool .

Saschaxx It's actually England not the UK (The UK is England, Scotland, Ireland, and Wales all together). But anyways, obviously I want England to win, but am concerned as I think the way Germany are playing they'll be giving us an absolute spanking in the semi's. But if we get there it will be a lot better then we expected.

As for tonight's game, Spain are the obvious favourites but France have a lot to prove after their defeat against Sweden, and Spain have never beaten France in a competitive match, so it could be an interesting game. I still expect Spain to win though, I'm going 2-1 for Spain.

The two most solid teams will play the final: Germany and Spain, the rest doesn't count any longer.
I don't know who will win that mtach, but it's going to be nice to look at.

As for the match Spain vs France: France was nowhere, and Spain was, even with the move from Poland to Ukrane. And now they get two days less rest then Portugal before playong the semi-finals. Pretty unfair actually. You could see the Spain palyers had difficulties adapting to the warmer climate in Ukrane...

Well once again England lose on penalties, this time 4-2 to Italy, But far to say the best team won they completely outplayed and outclassed us in every department. So the semi's are Portugal vs Spain and Germany vs Italy. My Germany vs Portugal final still looks on.

England were poor, and should have lost in the first half, never mind on penalties. We gave too much time on the ball to the Italians, never pressing when they had possession (which was most of the match), whilst they pressed and pressured the ball every time we had it.
