Yeah, you imagine they would actually pull out the EU? No chance. They know the effect on their economy would be devastating.

No, they are facing penalties now, because they are blocking migrants / refugees.

They will have to either take their share or get a LOT less out of our uropean union money streams.

They'll come around in time.

And please stop being so posessed about pedo issues. Accept that not every country is a s fucked up regarding sex ed, age of consent, etc like the US of A that is pretty much a christian shariah land.

Ze Stupa sees nothing wrong with diddling 14-15 year old girls.

Duly noted.

Not the thread to discuss this but since it came up I'm not going to hide my feelings.

I would not want my daughter to know about sex till she is 40 because all men are pigs. I won't go any further and turn it back to the EU situation.

Wow. You actually think this is a good thing?
Why would any country want to be part of a group who forces them to take in immigrants or be punished?

Then if they don't want to be part of the EU, they may leave we won't forbid them to go. The UK did it, Poland, Slovakia, Czech Republic etc. are free to do the same.

Yeah gee I'd have felt SO abused if at age 15 one of my female teachers came on to me. NOT
Matter of fact it's an extremely common teenage boy fantasy.

This recent trend toward isolationism is a knee-jerk reaction to events that are rocking the social and cultural structure of many countries in general and in Europe in particular. I hope that it fades (already seems to be doing so in the UK). Isolationist policies breed wars since there's always some expansionist asshole somewhere who thinks the timing is right for him to try to get away with something.

Well said, yet again.

Because they leech off the money from the EU they joined because of exactly that reason. It's all a give and take, and the EU is based on freedom, and that freedom means that you allow people to move freely. Give AND take.

As you broke it down:

It may come to either act up or get out.

Supa, it clearly seems that these refugees are posing various problems in the EU. Shouldn't individual nations have an obligation to their own people to curb the expansion of these problems? If my neighbors had been making these mistakes, am I obligated to make them too?
