I'd agree.Germany and Portugal should make it through tommorrow,unless the Dutch put in a team performance.But
I think it's going to be a sour day for one of them.

And I'm convinced that you ar still laughing after our defeat, but that is just as it was and will be between our two countries. The Belgian think the Dutch are people with big mouthes and always convinced about them selves while we thing that the Belgian people are shy/modest and a bit stupid.
Both wrong in my opinion, at least there were I live.
Okay, The Netherlands played bad, very bad, but to say that "we" already thougt we are going to the final, is rubbish.
Yeah there are some people with big mouths in our country, but we didn't say we gonna reach the final.
There was a poll in our country which concluded that we think that Germany will be the new European Champion.
There is still a lot of work to do for Van Marwijk and we have to cross our fingers for a good result against Germany and Portugal.
Hi my Northern friend, I'm still laughing after tonight. I'm sorry, but I don't think Dutch people (or at east not the ones I'm working with and the ones I know in my personal life) are big mouths. Your football players however do have big mouths, but even worse then that, they have an ego that goes waaay over the top. Football players shouldn't talk that much and PLAY.
And I heard two players tonight at NOS (Van Bommel and Sneijder) say to Jack Van Gelder they were convinced they were going to bring home the cup, so yes, they were convinced. And that is were it all went wrong with the Dutch team. Too big ego's and too easily convinced about the matches and about the 'enemies' (except for Germany perhaps). Look at the match from today. It was going to beat so easy. They would walk over Portugal and beat them with two goals difference without a problem (where do they get that ego knowing they never beated Portugal before in the last 20 years?), and Germany would easily win over Denmark. The press in The Netherlands is even doubting the position of Van Marwijk (I couldn't believe what I heard after everything he did with and for this team), while they should doubting the players and their contribution to the games they played. Where were those big money earners (Huntelaar, Afellay, Sneijder, Van Persie, Robben, ...)? I didn't see them at all in this competition. And yes, agreed, this poule was hard, but hey should have won over Denmar, a drawl against Germany was possible as well, and they should have won over Porturgal with names like these. But there's no team. And there's no team because apparently (after what I heard tonight from the interviews after the match on NOS) there were intern conflicts.
Anyway, they come back home and can start thinking about the matches and their behaviour towards each other and their technical staff.
Oh, and we, your Southern neighbours, think the same as the Dutch people do. We also thing Dutch people are a little stupid and are bigheaded. And let's be honest, they are.
