Shoot. I was thinking Philly would be playing at Carolina next weekend. I'm of the opinion that teams from the same division shouldn't play each other in the playoffs until absolutely necessary. But the NFL doesn't see it that way (I think it used to but it changed policy about 20 years ago. I don't know why) which is why Philly's going to New York next weekend. Oh, well. I'm hoping the Eagles knock the Giants off so that the other Manning won't have a shot at the Super Bowl this year, either, though I'm not sure how realistic my hope is. I'm also not sure how Arizona managed to beat Atlanta this last weekend but I don't think the Cardinals' playoff "win streak" will extend past one game - I expect Carolina to beat them, and to beat them soundly. Over in the AFC I'm thinking Pittsburgh over San Diego, but then I never would have guessed that San Diego would have beaten Indianapolis, either. On the other hand, the Chargers had the Colts at home - they won't have that advantage next weekend. I think the best game of next weekend, on paper at least, might just be Baltimore at Tennessee. So much so, in fact, that I might actually take a peek or two at that one.

they have a sunny disposition, but I don't think they are going to make it to play the NFC Champions. Baltimore has to much going for them at the moment.
