Louisville was supposed to be pretty good and they got it handed to them two weeks in a row.

I know man I just don't know what wrong with my team but I hope they can turn things around soon. :(

Oh wait if you are a Spartan fan you're waiting for the collapse just like me.

At least Spartan fan is a realist lol
And yes, they're right on schedule to get their heads handed to them next week :1orglaugh

What is up with the 'Huskers only beating BALL STATE by a point? Did USC jack them up that bad.

Probably pretty tough to get emotionally motivated following the USC loss. Then again, the evidence seems to be mounting that Nebraska just might not be particularly good, period. Based on that and the possibilty of a post big game letdown, I'm gonna take a pop on Washington State and the points against USC tonight.

I remember reading a story about Ryan Leaf being taken out at the beginning of his rookie season by some teammates to a restaurant to eat where they played a practical joke on him....I think Junior Seau ended up drilling him in their next practice even with the red shirt on. :1orglaugh

Classic!

Greeeeeeeat. Not only does U.S.C. NOT look the least bit flat, but WSU has turned the ball over twice on unforced errors deep in their own territory
At this point my "pop" sounds like a balloon about to burst LOL

My new top 10, week 4:

# 1. USC - Washington State provided a game... until the second quarter and The Trojans pulled away.

# 2. LSU - very impressive win over the Gamecocks; if I didn't love USC, I'd rank the Bayou Bengals #1.

# 3. Florida - Mississippi stuck around longer than they should have, huh?
# 4 Oklahoma - Wow...they just beat the HELL out of Tulsa.
# 5. WVU - Mountaineers rolling in Morgantown; poor poor ECU Pirates...

# 6. California
# 7. Ohio State
# 8. Texas
# 9. Wisconsin
#10. Oregon* - I had them ranked 9th last week but if Oregon loses tonight, I say the tenth spot is a tie between Clemson and Boston College. Wisconsin BARELY squeeked by in their win. If Oregon wins...The Ducks stay at 9 and the Badgers go to 10.

I was really disappointed with the following teams: Louisville, Ball State (Nebraska has found its level), and Penn State for not getting the job done. Sleeper again? Hawaii. They are 19th in the country and could get into the next 5 if they can keep winning.

that trick play was badassed.. :1orglaugh

especially when playing ball state. i would have rather seen a loss than a one point win against a team i dont even know where they are located. but, i won the game. :D

I'm a Cal Bears fan. They're looking very strong this year. I'm happy about that... Looking for USC & Cal game. That will be a great one.

Michigan State is in the Top 25 in two polls. 23rd in the USA Today and 25th in the Harris Interactive. Well for one week anyways.

oh, i can't wait to see this OSU head coach rant. It looks like it's going to be one of the greats...

You know I respect the fact that he called out the press like that. It is absolutely unacceptable to be negative or disrespectful (booing or otherwise) to a college player. They are out there because they want to play football, not because they get paid to do it. Having said that, coaches are fair game, they ARE professionals.

^^ i with you to a certain degree, but that shit was funny.

Personally, he took it too far. He should realize these grown ass men aren't 8-9 yr old peewee football playing "children". I think he may have embarrassed his player. Did you hear his comparison?:

"Have you had a child cry to his mom b/c he was made fun of for being fat and dropped a ball in a pickup game!"

College Football is the next step to the pros, but he chose to ignore that and minimize it to peewee, pickup football.

The only pt I agreed with was if the paper just stated 100% b.s. lies, which I'm sure they did. That's totally unacceptable.

A lot of them aren't out there because they are getting paid. A lot of them are out there because they want to use that as a means to get paid for it in the future by way of the pros or some other semi-pro or alternate league. Thus the disproportional amount of college athletes that take joke courses. It would be a stretch to just say they are all doing it for the love of the game.

South Florida really showed that they will be a force this year... today's huge game? Cal vs Oregon; 2 undefeated top 10 teams that score in bunches...and Purdue continues Notre Dame's asskicked season...
