2. Duke

3. Michigan State

4. Louisville

5. Kansas

6. North Carolina

7. Maryland

8. Gonzaga

9. Virginia

10. Villanova

Meh. The Pac 12 will suck again, which will greatly reduce my interest in the season.

I used to default to Gonzaga, but their cinderella team days are now pretty long past.

Well, Colorado and Washington are ranked, as are Oregon and Arizona. The Buffaloes have one of the nation's best shooters in McKinley Wright. Payton Pritchard at Oregon. Washington has some good young talent.

The Zags are 4-0 with a fast half court and good perimeter shooting. Their first real challenges come from a few of the aforementioned teams...and UNC later on the way. They face TAM in a bit on the road. Coach Few stresses a fast inside game and it seems to be working early on.

Nothing too exciting tonite...except Texas facing Georgetown. The Hoyas are interesting. Can Yurtseven and McClung carry this team anywhere in the tough Big East? They got drilled by an unranked PSU team led by All-Star Myreon Jones. Their coach--for those who don't know--is former All-Star Patrick Ewing. That means run on their opponents, no transition, and half court shenanigans. Seriously, the LH's played 4 patsies then slid by Purdue...that's a quality win for the defensive-minded Texans. Coach Smart plays the DENIED game, featuring tough ball handler coverage and rebounding. Plus he has a good human interest story in Frosh Andrew Jones. Should be a good game. Other than that, masturbate instead. Unless you're a REAL die-hard fan. In which case there's Duke and Cal. Then you can masturbate.:flaccid:

Yeah no they're good. All I meant was I a bigger fan when they were David vs Goliaths. Now they're expected to be among the Goliaths.

6. North Carolina/Virginia
7. Virginia/Gonzaga
8. Gonzaga/Maryland

NOTE: Where two teams are listed, the first is AP and the second is Coaches Poll. I did it this way to highlight the obvious discrepancies between the polls this week. Although. this poll can't be that current since Duke just lost to Stephen F. Austin out of the Southland Conference...

Well....the tournament is kaput. And next season is in question. And recruitment has essentially been put on hold. But here are two stories about Coach Izzo.
The first, is a heart-felt remorse and compassion for Spartan assistant coach Dwayne Stephens, who lost his dad to COVID-19. HERE
The second, is Izzo himself, not with the virus, but infected with stupidity. HERE

IS THIS going to be the trend? With uncertainty over next season looming over every college player's head, what are the chances that declaring early becomes the prevalent option? Ayayi is now the second player on his team to do so, with Corey Kispert going before.
