It's not as bad as everybody makes it out to be, but a lot of people are getting arcade sticks...makes the game feel old school.

Well seeing as I've never owned a Street Fighter game, it's all gonna feel new for me.
It's a Fighting Game, what are you expecting? That's like getting Madden every year and actually expecting something different.
Is the D-Pad (XBOX360) any good for playing fighting games? Can´t afford a PS3, you know.
I use the D-Pad on the XBOX 360 just fine when I play Super Street Fighter II Turbo HD Remix.
I cant wait for SF4! I grew up on Super Street Fighter 2 on super nintendo.
I pre-ordered the XBOX 360 Collector's Version today. Only a couple of weeks now.
So did I. It comes with an anime DVD, a action figure, and some downloads. It will be awesome. We'll have to play against each other sometime.
I wonder if there will a be tournament style online mode like Super Street Fighter II Turbo HD Remix. I won one those, pretty cool beating a bunch of people with my Cammy even though they kept talking trash.
lol yeah it seems everyone online is terrible against Cammy for some reason. I sure hope they have that mode. It's good stuff.
I've always liked using Cammy since she first appeared and she's usually the first one I pick in any Street Fighter game so I was glad when I heard they added her to the console versions of Street Fighter IV. It's even funnier when I play SSFIIT HD Remix and I'm fighting another guy who's using Cammy. I'm like "Okay, let's see who's the better Cammy fighter."
So I got two Street Fighter IV fightpads, bought them off of amazon.com. I heard these fightpads are vastly superior compared to the regular 360 controllers' d-pads, and from a video review I saw they are totally worth it.
I tried buying them from Gamestop but they don't let you have a pick of the different character fightpads, and they just choose at random which one they'll give you. Just a heads up for anybody tempted to go there.
But yeah, I bought a Ken fightpad and a Ryu fightpad:

The other fightpads have Akuma, Chun-Li, and Blanka skins, and they aren't wireless BTW. Best Buy is selling them currently right now too.

well thats new the fight pads look cool and i think i will be ordering one of them myself, thanks for the info but hey guys and gals not long to wait less than 20 days to go for street fighter, are there any people on here that is good at SF, now i know a lot of you will say yes but remember i mean competertive good not just beating friends at home good, I am ranked 5 th in the world on the SF HD remix and am looking for some good players to play with on the new one. Let me know if you think your hot and we will see if it true or not !!
I'll have to check BestBuy for the Chun-Li Fight Pad. I'd like to have better accuracy when I try to pull off moves.
Well after going to a couple of BestBuy stores I finally tracked down a Street Fighter Fight Pad. I got the Ryu one because all they had was Ryu and Blanka. I recommend either checking for it now, ordering it, or pre-ordering it if you're interested because these controllers are pretty much sold out everywhere.
