SUPER Street Fighter IV

^looks like the rumored list of characters is very accurate for being just a "rumor". The new trailer shows gameplay of the classic Final Fight characters Cody and Guy, along with Street Fighter's Adon!

I have to say, I'm really impressed with the game. Now that character stages and themes are back, it'll bring back some more nostalgia.

I hope they bring back Evil Ryu.
Street Fighter without Evil Ryu is garbage.
They also need to edit the Super arts/Ultra Combo so you can perform more than just one.
It's crap having just one to use in a fight.
Look at Apla series and EX series. You had tons of super arts to use in a match.

I was a huge fan of street fighter, WAS is the key word. TBH SF4 was crap in my opinion, it is so slow, i loved 2 and all its offspring and the whole alpha series but really SF4 was really slow, everytime you hit someone it freezes there was like what? 20 characters only? Me and a friend played like 2 matches at his house and got bored of it. And I hated to admit to him that the game sucked because he is a huge tekken fan and rubbed my face in it how Tekken 6 is better, its sad that he's right.

I've been a huge fan of Street Fighter since the original Street Fighter II: The World Warrior and absolutely loved Street Fighter IV. I didn't think it was slow at all and my game never froze. In fact the only issue I had was the amount of players who kept dropping when I would be close to win or lag if I fought somebody with a terrible connection. I rented Tekken 6 and didn't think it was great at all. I thought maybe I'd buy it later and give it a chance but I have no desire for it. Soul Calibur IV was a lot better. Street Fighter IV wasn't perfect but it was a damn awesome fighter and out of all the fighting games I played last year only BlazBlue comes close (BlazBlue has the best netcode I've ever played in a fighting game). I won't even talk about The King of Fighters XII. Marvel vs Capcom 2 was great 10 years ago but I've found myself not going back to it since I downloaded it last year on XBOX Live. I had more fun with Super Street Fighter II Turbo HD Remix than I had with Marvel vs Capcom 2. I love the Alpha series (and still have Alpha 3 for PS1), wasn't crazy about Street Fighter III: Third Strike (liked some of the characters though like Dudley, Makoto, Alex, and Remy), but IMO Street Fighter IV is on par with Street Fighter II and can't wait for Super Street Fighter IV. As far as character size SFIV had 25 characters and SSFIV is adding 10 more to that roster. The home edition of Alpha 3 had 34 characters so there's really not that much of a difference. The only fighters I've played that had a crazy amount of fighters was Tekken 6 (40), Mortal Kombat: Armageddon (63), and Marvel vs Capcom 2 (a lot). More isn't always better.

I didn't mean the game freezed. I meant that when you hit someone it freezes for like a half a second, i dont know it gets really annoying to me.

I dont know man I just really think games are starting to become huge rip offs now. Im a huge fan of the madden series and every year I buy it, not full price, but i do spend my money on it. It pisses me off that on Madden 10 they have less, they stripped superstar mode down to the bare minimum and gameplay isnt as good as i hoped, they didnt fix much issues and then they have the audacity to charge extra for an AFL mode, something that should have been included in the game. Its not only sports games either, they released borderlands n a few days later they added DLC, which you had to purchase, why not wait a week and put that on a disc??? Or if any of you bought Resident Evil 5 and had to pay 5 bucks extra for Versus Mode? Why not make it free? It seems Game Developers will do anything to milk the crap out of a game nowadays. Just like Left 4 dead only having 4 levels and a combined 8 hours of total gameplay, was it really worth 60 bucks, no, they should have L4D on an orange box type thing but nothing will change in gaming because everyone eats up all this crap and gives games like Left 4 dead awards and tries to excuse it by saying "oh its short but the zombies are in a different place everytime"....bullshit everytime I play the game with my friends, theyre like..watch out ther'll be a tank showin up soon.

Sorry for the rant.
