A 20-year-old woman who was robbed at an ATM in Bloomfield was also maimed by her attacker, police said.Pittsburgh police spokeswoman Diane Richard tells Channel 4 Action News that the victim was robbed at knifepoint on Wednesday night outside of a Citizens Bank near Liberty Avenue and Pearl Street just before 9 p.m.Richard said the robber took $60 from the woman, then became angry when he saw a McCain bumper sticker on the victim’s car. The attacker then punched and kicked the victim, before using the knife to scratch the letter “B” into her face, Richard said.Richard said the woman refused medical treatment after the assault, which happened outside the view of the bank’s surveillance cameras.The robber is described as a dark-skinned black man, 6 feet 4 inches tall, 200 pounds with a medium build, short black hair and brown eyes. The man was wearing dark colored jeans, a black undershirt and black shoes.

Looks more like the letter 'B', which apparently stands for 'Barack', was scratched onto her face. Certainly not "carved", as the headline implies. It will obviously heal. The skin wasn't even broken.

This story will definitely stir some shit up.

Something about this story doesn't seem right to me. I don't know what it is, but it just seems...it seems...well, "set up" to me. I don't know, it just doesn't come off as being 100% real.

The election is right around the corner and a story like this happens all of a sudden? It seems fishy to me. Plus, look at her face...she wasn't CARVED at all. I work with knives all day long and trust me, a knife didn't do that to her face. Maybe a fingernail, MAYBE...but not a knife.

Plus, look how perfect the "B" looks. If there was a guy trying to attack her, she would be struggling. She would be whipping and thrashing her body around, so there would be no way to make a perfect "B" like that in her face. That would be impossible, unless she just sat there and let somebody do it.

The letter B also stands for "broad", "babe", "boo!", "bank", "buzz" and "Bush", as well as "bogus". I'm not sure what a kinda backwards b/figure-8 thing stands for though....

I looked at the big picture of her face. For having had a letter "carved" onto her face, the wounds had healed amazingly fast - what, less than 24 hrs.?

Notice how there are no witnesses except for the victim. And the attack, perhaps conveniently, did not get recorded by the bank security camera.

Plus, it just doesn't make sense. The type of person who would mug someone for $60 bucks is not the type of person who would be paying attention to the presidential election. And if a criminal is mugging someone, they would usually run off as soon as they got the money. They wouldn't hang around to scratch the letter 'B', backwards at that, into the victims face.

And CCT is right. If a knife was used, then her face would be cut, not scratched. Looks like it was done with a fingernail, not a knife.

Furthermore, THE 'B' IS BACKWARDS! That makes zero sense. Why would the robber scratch the letter 'B' backwards????????? The only explination for it being backwards is that the 'victim' scratched the letter into her skin herself in the mirror. In the mirror the 'B' would look normal. And an idiot dumb enough to try and lie about an "Obama supporter" carving a 'B' into her face is probably dumb enough to not realize that the 'B' should look backwards in the mirror so it will look straight on her face.

That's why I'm saying that this story seems fishy. This so-called "attacker" was robbing her for money at knife point, which would obviously include some sort of struggle, but, for some reason, he looked at her BUMPER STICKER? Come on...they could've thought of a more likely story than that.

I come from a place that people from different parties will slice each other with machettes. It does not surprise me if things worse than these might happen as we get closer to this much contested electoral campaign. Damn right only here in Pittsburgh. Bloomfield is the Little Itally section of the city and that's about 20-25 minutes from me. I live outside the city and nothing big really happens here.
