We're trying to have a serious discussion here! The fate of the world is at stake. In fact, I haven't seen a thread this important since "Who made you cum today?" If we don't find out how all FO members hang their toilet paper, the situation will be dire indeed. Some people may see delphian as a flamer or troll, but not me! He's the only one who's got his head on straight!!

Great picture, I posted, and did anyone take note of the one juror leaning over the table, and true to form, with his tie carelessly loosened, the slob? Probably anxious to get back to that BLT sequestered in a drawer of his nightstand while catching the hockey game on the tube.

I wonder how the toilet paper hangs in that women's bathroom in the background.

We'll have to check the memoirs of Martin Balsam, Robert Webber, and even John Fiedler for starters.

Unless I'm in a living situation where I share a bathroom. Then I take my own roll, so I guess sideways in those situations.

I'm going to work on a reversible toilet paper roll holder. It will be able to rotate 180 degrees and lock into place. That way everybody can be happy and the world can finally have peace.

Toilet Paper: Over Or Under?

How do you prefer your toilet paper roll?

I prefer my TP "over," as opposed to "under," and my intuition tells me that most people have a similar opinion. I never understood why people would consciously choose to have the roll going "under," unless they simply don't care about which way their TP faces and just put the roll on however they have it in their hands at that time. "Under," just seems to be the inferior option to my mind.

If you prefer "under," would you please explain why? Are there benefits - actual or perceived - to orienting the TP that way?

I like over better.
The reason for under is if you have a cat (or a baby?) that will sit there and spin the roll all on the floor. Under prevents that better. Over for grown-ups.

it should always be OVER!!! I hate when its under as it rubs all the bathroom walls. I clean them yes but I'd rather my toilet paper touch nothing before it hits my ass. Well withing my control as I have no idea what it went through to get to bathroom

My dad is the worst underhand toilet paper fiend that I know of. He has actually changed the roll around from the normal overhand roll to the freakish underhand roll before.
