It's May 4th and Osama Bin Laden is still dead!


So I'm watching the news last night and on a whim I go to Google Maps on my computer
and type in "bin Laden hideout" I get an overview photo like what's been in all the
newspapers. Now if it's had that label for more than 48 hours, there's a lot of intelligence
agencies have some explaining to do. Then I noticed on the left the following question:" Did you mean: bin laden hideout near San Jose Ca?"
Sure show me that hideout.

Sure, in hindsight it would have been better if Saddam were still in power today (maybe helping to keep Iran in check), but what are we gonna do, beat ourselves up for enforcing a UN resolution of which NATO had no desire, nor the capacity to enforce on their very own? I think not.

I've said so many times, didn't matter if Bush or Gore were PREZ, The US was going into Iraq at some point after 2001.
The only reason Clinton didn't do it was because he knew it would have negative effect on Gore being elected.
What always made me sick was how the democrats used the war that they wanted also as a campaigning platform.
It was so obvious what they did. Clintons, Gore , Kerry , Kennedy, Reid, Crazy Eyes Pelosi and so many more who supported it then turned around and manipulated it for their own political reasons.
"We were lied to". "Its all Bushes fault, vote for me"
And even many the ones who didn't support it beforehand still made it out to be a republican blunder and dissolved the dems of any responsibilty.

Yeah...that cut and paste that's been floating around amongst GOPer foot soldiers is a mish-mash of carefully plucked statements.

No context is followed, we don't know who was leading them to believe ..during the timing of some of those statements Saddam may have in the '90s but not in 2002...no telling what some congress members were being shown which led to some of what they were saying.

Point is simply this, the administration is in charge of intelligence gathering. At the time we know much of it was being faked. As such it's highly likely this fake stuff was being used on congress and therefore stands to reason why they would have been saying what they were saying.

I think it's probably a mistake to not release the pics because all that does is give more ammo for distractions to those hell bent on turning any Obama/nation positive into a negative.

I can understand Obama's calculus on this as he doesn't believe we should be like them in parading images of gruesome deaths and it doesn't make me doubt the demise of OBL in the least.

I can already see Obama' press secy. bungling the hell out of this simple explanation though and backtracking like he's doing a country song line dance. Obama should have come out and explained this himself.
