Depends on what you want to achieve. It's unhealthy to 'back up the works', but as long as you relieve it within a few hours.. it shouldnt cause you much trouble.
Anyway, wanking without nutting is stopping the natural flow of things. Like eating and immediately throwing up.. it's not the proper way but whatever.

It is not necessarily bad. I have heard that one can "train" themselves to come too quickly thru frequent masturbation because your body learns the response. On the other hand, some sex therapists and other doctors recommend reversing the trend. Masturbate but intentionally don't come. Supposedly your body can relearn that the pump does not always = the load.
Still, I wouldn't let it back up. Maybe stroke it right up to the brink, let your hard-on go away. And in 30 minutes or so start over. Maybe let yourself come the 3rd time.
