The Red Wings took game 7 to win the series and now are going to face the Blackhawks in the second round.

All teams that made it so far are the teams I picked would make it to the second round.

Two game 7's are all that remains in the first round of the playoffs.

Yeah I actually watched the game, I either try to go too sleep and wake up in the middle or end of the games, or I watch another show or some recordings, only because I get too emotional when I try to watch a whole game I am addicted too, like MY favorite TEAMS, not like crying emotional, like pissed off, agitated, anxiety, etc.. but I watched the game this time, I said to myself, even if they are losing, tied, or lose the game, I wouldn't be mad since they've gotten a lot farther then I thought they would this year. When Abdelkader scored that shorty I kind of relaxed, then they got the 2 goal lead and I was pretty confident, even when Z got that delay of game penalty I knew the Ducks would score, and I was slightly worried it would get tied up and we'd lose in OT.. but it didn't happen like that this time. :nanner: Congrats to my Wings!!!

I am doing well, I picked Detroit, Vancouver, Chicago, LA, OTT, the Pens, CAPS and Bruins. right now I am 5 of 8 if the Caps and Bruins win I picked 7 of 8 correctly... so we'll see how the other 2 eastern series end up.

I like the matchups in the West even if the Canucks are out. An Original Six matchup and an all-Californian series should make for some great hockey.

I'm upset the Wings won last night because I really would have preferred a Ducks/Kings series. I guess that's what I get for doubting the fucking RED WINGS wouldn't make it out of the first round, but if they get past the Blackhawks I'll be stunned. Meanwhile, the Kings must be heavily favoured to win their series, but I'll be cheering for the Sharks.

Kings are gonna smash on the Sharks.. don't give a fuck about any of the series in the East.. my bet is its gonna be the Black Hawks or Kings winning Lord Stanley no matter who prevails in the East. the Isles exposed the Pens weak D and the Chi-Hawks or LA would methodically exploit that with a unrelenting fore-check and thus winning the Finals.. with that said I don't think anybody in the east can handle the Black Hawks or Kings.. the West will win. :yoda:

What, what?? the Red Wings were NOT dominated by the Hawks this year, granted they lost all 4 games but 3 of the 4 gms were either OT or SO loses, and aside from that 7-1 thrashing @ JLA, Detoit is better now then when they played all those games against the Hawks. Our D is playing a lot better, they have more skill and personal returned from injury, not saying the Wings can or are gonna win the series or anything like that, but they're playing with a lot more confidence, and playing pretty well.

And the Kings won't be able to handle the talented Sharks? I think the Blues are better than the Sharks, I think the Kings man handle the Sharks.. just my opinion, but we shall see.

2 game 7's should be a interesting and exciting night.. I picked the Bruins cuz I thought the Bruins have a chance to win the EAST, I picked the CAPS cuz I can't STAND the FUCKIN RANGERS, in fact I hate them with a PASSION. I prolly hate the Rangers more then any team in the NHL.. :yoda:

Well gotdamn I knew if I posted this early I would be sorry. The Bruins finally woke the fuck up after that 4th goal.. the Bruins almost won it in the last seconds.. it would be a SHAME IF BOSTON LOSES IN OT!!! :uohs: I would be pissed for them! :cussing:

However it does look like the CAPS are done unless they can solve Lundquist or whateva the fuck his name is.. I hate them I don't even wanna know there names!! whoever plays for the rangers I HATE em' fuck the RANGERS!!! :thefinger

Wow if I was a Maple leaf fan it would feel like I was jumping for joy @ Niagara Falls after that 4 - 1 goal because you were about to come back from a 3 -1 series deficit, now its over in OT and the Bruins end the Maple leafs season is over and now I'd be jumping off of Niagara falls :suicide: That may have been one of the BEST if not thee BEST game 7 comebacks in NHL history!! it was certainly unbelievable!!! I certainly feel for the Maple Leafs fans, but wow, the NHL is FAN-tastic!! :jester:

Yeah now a lot more of you can relate to (having your team leading a game 4 - 1 with 5 minutes left and blow it.) I know my team ended up winning that game in OT and eventually won the series. but I know, you know I heard "it" from so many people from this forum. SMH. :hairpull:

I know I was seriously worried that LA was gonna lose after they left St. Louis down 2 - 0 heading to LA.. I tried to Rep you for that post about the Blues being your pallbearers @ your funeral. that was too fuckin funny. but I feel for the Blues fans as well. Detroit used be just like that before they finally won in 97' so I remember all to well the let down of never being able to get over that hump. Hopefully in your lifetime your Blues will win it.

Wow, had to miss that epic collapse because I had a tee time. Now we got four of the original six meeting in semis and some intriguing semi matchups between a few other teams. Such a good playoffs so far but I'm pissed I missed that Leafs collapse.
