The Canucks lost in OT and were swept by the Sharks. I thought the Sharks would win but didn't think they would sweep them.
Senators won in OT and are up 3-1 in the series.
Blackhawks also took a 3-1 game series lead.

Fire Vigneault tonight. Don't wait till the end of the playoffs, don't wait till the Draft. He is incapable of leading this team to victory.
Sit the Sedins down and teach them how to play North American hockey. This is the third year in a row they disappeared in the playoffs and this year they literally cost us the game. They are incapable of winning the big one.
Playing Schneider over Luongo in games 3 and 4 was the worst decision Vigneault could have made. He did himself and the team absolutely no favours by doing so. If Luongo played and they lost, it would just prove everything people have said about him. Schneider's play wasn't the only thing that lost the series but it definitely didn't help. If Luongo can't win the big one, Schneider can't even get to it.
What a joke.

We've had some great games and great even series' so far this PS. Wild should be gone next and then the Habs. Both NY teams' series could go the length and so should the Blues and Ducks' series (the teams I think will win those series). The other couple series are close as well.
Wow, that's brutal. Just terrible. i wonder if there will be any repercussions for those refs?
I wonder which Canadian franchise is the next to bring the Cup home.

I had a bad feeling about OT tonight, I kind of knew the Wings were gonna lose. 
I am kind of elated that the Kings won, but that doesn't ease the sting of the Wings losing.
And I am really bothered that the Caps lost to those ny bitches!! I hate them with a passion, and the Bruins winning was expected but it doesn't excite me at all.

Blues and Wings are both toast (as well as the Wild). My interest in the SC playoffs is now reduced to hoping (I can't believe I am saying this!) the Hawks can beat LA if (when?) they face in the finals but I have serious doubts. Kings fans make me violently ill and are classless. Hawks fans just make me violently ill.
I wouldn't count the Blues out yet, but that was a heart .breaker for sure.

I appreciate the encouragement Scott but they aren't beating LA at Staples Center. I hate to say it but the Kings are just a better team. Kings fans (in general), on the other hand, are arrogant assholes who don't know shit about hockey. With nothing but California teams and the Hawks left in the WC playoffs, I have to hold my nose and pull for Chicago (assuming the Wild don't make some miraculous comeback). Another disappointing season....now it'll be 47 years and counting for the Blues and Lord Stanley's Cup. I'm at the stage of the game that I just hope to see one before I am dead. Depressing.

I haven't lost my hope yet, the game that put my hopes in jeopardy was game 3, I was expecting a win, but unfortunately that didn't happen, I still think the Wings can win game 6 and maybe play a gem of game back in the big A for game 7. of course they must win game 6 first. The Blues are in trouble heading back to LA. :dunno: we'll see what the hockey gawds have in mind this year.
The Senators eliminated the Canadiens from the playoffs winning the game 6-1 and the series 4-1.
The two teams that made it so far are the teams I predicted that would win, Sharks and Senators.
I know its not over until its over but if the Red Wings are eliminated all I will say is better luck in the Eastern Conference next year, and 22 straight years is the longest running playoff streak in the history of major sports. That is a feat in itself.

FFS the Cardiac Kids do it again!! that's right they blew a 2 goal lead with 5 + minutes to go in the 3rd period so they could make sure it went too OT for the 4th time out of the 6 games played thus far.. SMH...
How the fuck didn't Perry get a tripping call that led to the 3rd and tying goal? granted the Red Wings have been sloppy closing out games they've had the lead, but FFS the REF was right there and it caused a goal too boot!! Terrible officiating, they should suspend the REFS when they fuck up like that.. :cussing:
So game 7 on Sunday.. Hmmm I dunno anything can happen.. Howard might stand on his head and get a shutout.. maybe??? the Red Wings certainly have a flare for the dramatics this year. Either way the 7th seed (a team without the greatest D-Man in NHL history) "Lidsrom" and no Stuart from last year as well, Whilst, taking the 2nd seed to a 7th and deciding game, not too shabby. :nanner:

The Blackhawks won last night as well as the Los Angeles Kings. Two teams that I predicted that would make it to the second round.
Of course its logical, but the Ducks vs Red Wings series will determine the matchups for the second round now. The only thing set in stone is that the Kings will face a California team in the second round.

Yep, after the 1st 2 games in St. Louis, I said J. Quick would get pissed off and turn into SUPERBEAST mode for the rest of the series, low and behold, I was right, by far the best series of the PO's thus far.. I was lining it up and Kings will either play the Sharks or Ducks and Chicago gets Detroit, if the Wings get past the Ducks.. Which won't be a bad thing.. of course the Wings will be a tired, but Chicago always brings out the best in the Wings and its a short flight back and forth, might be a upset in the making, never know..

I was quite stunned that the ref let that trip go, it was not only tripping but interference, Quincy didn't even have the puck, that was pure BS NON-CALL!! but fuck it JUSTICE prevailed!!
I also can't stand the PUNKASS rangers I hope the CAPS eliminate those bitches!! Ovie has been good can't blame him for how the series has gone, it wouldn't hurt if he had a great game though, go CAPS!! go Isles!!
The only thing that pissed me off so far, in the playoffs, is the no-call tripping penalty against the Ducks, when Ryan scored to tie the game. That should never have counted.

In the last game, the Red Wings had the game won, and with less than 5 minutes left they let a 2 goal lead slip away in the matter of minutes. That shows really bad defense on their team.
