Hello Sexy girl how your Toes doing?
Holy fuckin' Ducks. Epic collapse.

No shit!! If the wings lose this game they certainly deserve too!! this sucks, 1st the kings blow there game, now the wings are about to lose after leading 4 - 1 with 12 + minutes left in the 3rd, if they don't cash in on this PP in OT there screwed. Damn I didn't see that coming.. I thought for sure the Ducks would crush on the Wings throats after the 3rd period disaster!! its damn good thing they cashed in!! :nanner:

Fuck I was hoping they would have at least let me get back over from 'Nightline' and sure enough they fucking lost.

So far I've pleased with this post season. What's new.

I've always wanted the Blues to win a Cup. They've been in the league for quite a while with no hardware.

Quick is my boy for sure and I dig Dustin Brown but maybe the Blues need to move on since LA won last year. We'll see...

Well, we're not exactly predicting that just yet here in Blue Nation but last night's win was huge without question. Whether Jackman's goal ultimately proves to be a watershed moment for us remains to be seen but so far the Blues have done what they needed to do in these first two games. We have basically been the Kings' personal bitch for the past season but this isn't the same Blues team they were able to previously dominate and it shows. We have to have them shaking their heads after dealing them back-to-back losses. Now it's off to LA for two games....hopefully we can take at least one of 'em but I'm not taking anything for granted. Until someone takes it away from them, the Kings are the Stanley Cup champs and I have tremendous respect for them.

I think that LA is super pissed off now, they let both games slip away. they were in position to win both games no matter how lopsided the play was in either game, for or against, I think Quick will turn into a super BEAST for games 3 and 4 and LA will tie up the series, like you said, they are the Champs, I don't expect them too fold now :nono: matter of fact I think this is the adversity they needed too turn it up a notch, I think LA has gotten there wake-up call and they will play on a whole nother level for the rest of the series. I'm not gonna say the Blues are NOT gonna win the series, cuz they are up 2 - 0 but I don't think LA is gonna make it easy for the Blues that's for sure.

If the Blues happen to win a game in LA then, that might finally get the Blues over that proverbial hump they always go up, but they always end up falling back down, maybe the Blues finally put it all together, and go on a (LA like streak) and they go onto the WCF's and oust the Chi-Hawks, we'll see the KINGS are not done yet. :yoda:

Everyone talks about what an awesome player Dustin Brown is and I agree he is a super talent but he also plays like a fucking headhunter sometimes. This is just a plain cheap shot play that could have led to either a serious knee or head injury to Jaden Schwartz. You tell me if this is suspension-worthy or not:

Then, to add a real touch of class (not!), this is being tossed around as something to laugh about on the Kings discussion boards:

C'mon people....you're better than that. Aren't you?? :dunno:

They're Kings fans. There's nothing to laugh about, it's all sad.

Wow down 4-1, the Ducks were able to tie and force OT in game 2.

Even though the Red Wings won, and its a best of 5 game series now, the fact that the Ducks were able to tie it either shows great offensive ability from the Ducks or bad defense by the Red Wings. Perhaps even a combination of both, because the Ducks kept pushing forward and the pressure got to Detroit, if the Ducks keep playing the way they have been, it could be another first round exit for the Red Wings.

Senators Eric Gryba is suspended for 2 games for his hit on Canadiens Lars Eller. It should be an intense game 2 tonight in Montreal. Canadiens will also be without Brian Gionta and Max Pacioretty so I expect Ottawa to be going home with a 2-0 series lead.

That hit was as clean as it gets. The refs were scared of the Montreal fans and apparently the nhl front office is too.

I agree about him being dirty sometimes - he has cost one of our better players Pominville a number of games because of the shot he gave him:

http://www.twincities.com/sports/ci_23100249/minnesota-wild-hit-jason-pominville-costs-dustin-brown

But he is only the second American-born captian to win the Cup, so that's why I was a fan, and he is a great talent.

Eh maybe I need to rethink that.. .

Brown does look suspect in that play. :yesyes:

Like Babs said there are a lot of kids / rookies playing they got off there game they got shook, and the Ducks were able to make them pay, you learn through mistakes (some more costly then others) but they overcame there collapse and did what they had to do too win. Detroit's Defense finished 5th overall in most stingiest defenses I think I heard them say, after losing Lidstrom, and Stuart in the off-season, of course the 1st 25 games were gonna be learn on the job, and add in all the injuries and it showed, the last 23 games they played pretty damn good except for a few occasions, Detroit will be just fine, and if they don't win the series, that's cool too, there the 7th seed playing the 2 seed and there a YOUNG team now. remove the 5 or so older players and there average age is in the mid 20's if that.. they'll be fine as long as they beef up the roster to play in the east. :2 cents:

Agreed they made it look like he was trying to kill eller and the more I looked at it I saw all shoulders with no elbow, nor did gryba target his head, I watched HNC's analysts discuss this hit, and the NBC analysts and across the board they all pretty much came to the same conclusion; that it was a clean hit, Gryba didn't jump or leave the ice with his skates as they say, it was a very good clean hit, it was a :suicide: pass by the Montreal d-man who passed ellers the puck, can't think of his name, but that's what it was a suicide pass, and they needed a scapegoat, the d-man should have made a different play, and his teammate wouldn't have got laid out!! Ok maybe it was a 2 minute penalty at most, but a game misconduct and 2game suspension is asinine in my opinion and I'm a shanny fan (more so when he was player of course) but I think he was pressured into handing out a suspension.

Sorry everyone....here's a link to the thread on their board making fun of this. Really makes me lose respect for Kings fans who enjoy this sort of thing. Also makes me want the Blues to crush the Kings like a fucking grape:

I also agree Gryba's hit was clean. Reminded me of the one Backes unjustly got nailed with against Detroit earlier this year if anyone remembers that.

I'm a member at HF. That is without question the most heated, irrationally posted board I have ever been a part of outside maybe CD, and I've been a member now at at least 20 forums ranging in music, cars, sports, women, drinking, etc., and when these hockey fans post on there it gets crazy. If you get on a 'game day thread' there the posts come so fast I don't even bother posting on them anymore you just can't keep up.

But anyway, they were all going nuts about the lockout wanting the heads of the NHLPA leaders and such and hating all these players for making what they could make and holding out, and I was outnumbered like 1-20, me siding with the NHLPA and the players. But yeah, it gets heated over there for sure.

It is not always what it seems, I said myself I don't give the Isles a flying chance in hell at beating the Pens, I was saying it might even be a sweep, and here the 8th seeded Isles were down 3 - 1 in the Burgh, and they fought back to tie the game and now have taken the lead. now we know the Pens are a hell of a lot better than the Detroit Red Wings atleast (presently) and the Pens have let the samething that happened to the Red Wings last night happen to them. and its a bit worse for the pens, not only are they the top seed, but they are losing right now. :uohs: see it happens to even the best of teams in the present day NHL. :glugglug: lets see if the Isles pull off the minor miracle and win a game in the Burgh!

Glad the Isles won and Gopher Okposo got the GW. Go home to the Nassau 1-1? That tiny arena's gonna be fucking bananas - I'm watching that game if schedule permits.

The Wild offense sucks Rhinoceros smegma. Seriously, easily, we were the worst offense (production wise) to make the playoffs, and if I remember around 30 or so in regular season?

The natives, to say the least, are restless on the HF board, Jagg.

They want Yeo's head on a stick. :flaccid:

Yeah that was pretty ugly but what did anyone expect being the 8th seed up against the Hawks? Only thing they can do is come back to the X and try to win one game. I'll check out the HF board later but I'm starting to think most of the guys who post on there are complete simpletons.

Yep. Remember, all of you on here who were making playoff predictions picked the Hawks to win in 5 (except Rodfarva who said 4), so there has to be one loss. ;)
