Samuelsson and Tootoo signed in Detroit.
LOVE it.
Samuelsson and Tootoo signed in Detroit.
Marlo should love the Tootoo signing. I could do without Samuellson. At least he's better than Hudler.
6.2 million on a back up and 2 forwards. Not bad. I think we have $17 million left. Let's get Suter!!! Him and Tootoo will dramatically change the style of these Wings.
And as we all figured, the greatest goaltender of all time signed a 2 year deal to stay in Jersey.
Wings need a great goaltender... still looking for one!!!!!
Radulov signs with some POS Russian team. Good riddance.
Jagr signs with Dallas.
Detroit reportedly offers Ryan Suter a $90 million 13 year contract.
Minnesota seems to be the front runner for Parise.
We have an all star goalie.
Thank god, I was prepared to disown my Red Wings if they signed Jagr!! I hate that guy, saluting the crowd, home or away after scoring a goal, I think/thought that was so chauvinistic/cocky, that I just never liked the guy, and I cringe everytime the Wings are linked to acquiring him..
Yes, I think Suter will be a Red Wing, he'd be getting 13 yrs / 90 million.. I don't think anybody is offering more than that, + he'd be the # 1 D-man in Detroit, (until he recruits Shea Weber to come to Detroit next July 1) and he'd be playing for a 1st class organization, that is dedicated to winning, they know how to draft so they remain competitive without getting high draftpicks, and he'd be playing for an original 6 teams thats won 4 Stanley cups in the last 15 years, he'd be playing in the Winter Classic @ the Big House playing in front of 115,000 + fans, not to mention, the national exposure from that game alone.
I think there just crossing the T's and dotting the I's... and I am sure he'd be making plenty of bonus salary if he puts up certain #'s and the further Detroit advances in the playoffs Suters paycheck would get nicer as well.. thats just my :2 cents: I hope its the Red Wings that have won his services, if not, I think I'll die.. :uohs:
Personally I think the Red Wings are gettin Parise as well. babcock was with Parise today, and if Suter is coming to Detroit, which it looks like that is the case, maybe Suter and Parise have been talking, and are hopefully planning and committing to play together in Detroit for the next 10 + years. god I hope this is the case.. I am and have been definitely hoping for Suter more so then Parise, but if they both come, I'd love that even more.. :nanner:
Did we win or even come close to a cup this year? I think not.... NEW GOALIE!!!! Howard is pulling an Vernon/Osgood/Hay-shack type of deal... playing awsome then chokeing..
