Anyone have access to viewership numbers? I am curious how much the lockout hurt the league, and how many people came back to it.

Last night's Oilers/Kings game displayed some of the worst officiating I have ever seen in my life. I was screaming (and cursing, which I rarely do) in my apartment as I watched the horrible calls throughout the game. With 10.6 seconds left I was shaking my head in disgust and PO'd. Then with 4.7 seconds left I was doing a whole different kind of screaming because this happened:
And then I screamed again when we won it in overtime. What a great bounce-back game for Devan Dubnyk (who played great) and the whole team!
P.S. The way Nail Yakupov batted that puck out of mid-air for the tying goal was incredible!

He may be the missing puzzle piece we have been needing since Hitch took over the reigns of the Blues....a guy who can punch you in the gut without notice. We haven't had a pure goal-scorer like him since Brett Hull IMO....at least, that's how it looks so far. Other teams may try to muscle him like Nashville did last night. Didn't seem to faze him....he looks like the real deal to me. Maybe there is a God after all!!!

Gabby puts up 2+2 (4) tonight as Rangers rally after 0-2 start to post 5 unanswered. Still a fucking beast and my favorite player.

That Brad Stuart hit on Landeskog kind of turned me on. I really hope he doesn't get into trouble because i thought it was a good, hard, clean hockey hit.
He probably will. The NHL doesn't like it when a star player gets hit. Stuff I don't like is how they need to fight after a nice hard clean check. It's just as stupid as the premeditated fights during a face off. I like a fight but it's got to be for the right reasons.

No. This is dumb and why Laraque was useless as the Oilers enforcer. You don't ask guys to fight you just do it. Guys on other teams would take runs at Hemsky for example and Laraque would do dick all because the other guy kindly refused and wouldn't drop the gloves. Don't get me wrong, Laraque is a good guy but a shitty enforcer.
The only guy who legit gets booed is the captain,Shawn Horcoff. Hopefully, they buy him out this offseason.
