So Winnipeg sold all of their season tickets, 13,000 of them in what essentially would have been minutes if they didn't stagger things. Right now they've got the fifth most expensive tickets in the league and a capped waiting list of 8000 for season tickets. Somehow, I think Winnipeg will be fine this time around.

I would like to take a moment to pause and reflect on tonight's game .... after which, i can conclude, conclusively that:

BRUINS SUCK!!!!!

Ahahahahahahahahahah! Go Canucks!

Good kitty.

For the Bruins, Burrows' bark was worse than his bite.

How do you bite someone and not get suspended????????? Fix. Canada gets a new team and the cup in 2 weeks time. Fix.

How do you figure? They are not predicted to win this series by almost anybody (except Bruins fans) and yet they hang with the Canucks all game long for the first two games. Yeah they totally suck man what was I thinking.

It is cause most stuff in the playoffs is overlooked. I mean you'd probably literally have to blatantly injure a guy before you got a suspension. This is the same problem players have all season as there is no consistency to the calls so they don't know what a clean check is anymore or what will get them suspended. Hopefully, Shanahan does a better job disciplining players than Campbell did.

Again the Bruins bring losing to an artform.

You know what? If someone stuck his glove in my mouth, I'm going to bite down, too.

There was no damage done. He had a finger stuck into his mouth. Not a banable offence.

Jarkko Ruutu was suspended for 2 games for the exact same thing when he bit Andrew Peters' finger.

yes it's Jarkko Ruutu, but if you're going to suspend one person for it you have to do the same to others

Yes, I agree.

But I don't think Ruutu should have been suspended, either.

Honestly, it hurts like a fuck when someone gets their glove in you face, let alone into your mouth.

Are the rumors coming to fruition? Is Winnipeg actually getting another franchise? So what happens to my beloved Moose? Thunder Bay? I can't wait to get back up to Manitoba.

It's done. The Moose are going to St. John's, Newfoundland. They sold 13,000 season tickets so getting tickets to a game might be an expensive proposition.

But isn't their arena outdated? I'm surprised to hear this. I hope the Moose do well in their new home. I like the AHL teams that play in more small towns/cities. I think it's a good strategy, considering the Hershey Bears have some of the best fans in that league.

Does the MTS Centre even have luxury suites?

What I'm thinking, is if I want to get up there for a Wild game maybe the preseason? I might be able to snatch some tix for that.

I look forward to the realignment. You would have to absolutely think they would be in the Wild's division, or...they might be with Calgary, Edmonton and Van. I'm thinking the Wild would be a good fit in a division like that, although we would be the only American team so that might be a bit odd for customs and shit like that.

And if you know customs they only recently made it much more difficult for both Canadians and Americans.

Really well-written article on the Winnipeg deal:

http://bloguin.com/articles/hockey/...-the-nhl-move-to-the-wrong-canadian-city.html

The guy makes some good points. Will the team succeed in the arena with what will now be the least seats for an NHL arena? Who was the moron who decided to construct such an arena, lacking in sufficient seating?

The suites look like shit compared to what is the best arena in the league, the Wild's 'X'. Plus, he makes some valid points on it being the least likely place elite players would even want to play, considering it's the coldest Tundra in North America.
