What the hell is wrong with Vancouver? They just can't put this away. Is the "Canuck playoff fold" starting late, or what the hell is going on?

Wow what a great game I was so positive it was going into overtime and I was thinking, thats gotta suck for 1 of these teams to lose 1 - 0 cuz both goalies played AWESOME.. and what really made me feel bad, was, for the life of me I didn't realize T.Thomas is a Michigan native, which really made me wish TT played a great game.
But I definately want Lord Stanley to remain property of the Western Conference, thats one of the reasons I am rooting for the Nucks to win it all, that and Ryan Kessler is also a Michigan Native as well.. Plus the city of Boston / Massachusetts has won so many titles in the last decade IE.. the
Red Sox, Celtics, Patriots etc.. I wouldn't be able to justify rooting for the B's.. then all of the sudden bam a mistake TT is too agressive trying to cut down the angle and they get a pass to an open Torres. and he scores with 18.5 seconds to play!! Damn..
I predict No Burrows (Biting) and Krejci (Cross-Checking to the head) for game 2.. Draw, both players will be equally missed.. :2 cents: I love when there's HATE between 2 teams involved in a 7 game series. :elaugh:

Alex Burrows and David Krejci will not be suspended for their actions in yesterdays' game. although to be fair, Kreci barely touched Hamhuis. it looked like Dan was hurt when he flipped Lucic. Burrows, on the other hand, is very lucky the NHL discipline process is so inconsistent
Agreed. Krejci didn't do ANYTHING. That shouldn't even have been a penalty. Krejci went for a check and then barely touched Hamhuis when he saw that he was keeled over and injured. And Burrows should absolutely be suspended. Maybe for life for being a Canuck, but that's just my opinion.
A shit tonne of flopping from the Canucks. Luongo didn't make any great saves; he played well, but everyone is going to blow it out of proportion, he didn't stand on his head. Thomas was the superior goaltender in Game 1 and there was nothing he could do about the goal the Canucks scored. It was a defensive lapse, not his fault.
If the Heat win the NBA title AND the Canucks win the Stanley Cup, I might have to move to some small solitary island in the South Pacific and meditate and not come back for at least a year. Sports suck right now.

Ehhh. In Burrows defense if some meathead is for some reason trying to stick his glove in my mouth, I might try and say something and inadvertently bite down on his finger / hand as well.. he was putting his fingers / hand in the guys mouth, now if they were in a fight and Burrows put his mouth somewhere and bit him, I would scream FOUL.. GIRLIE shit!!! but that's not the case.. and you guys are right Krejci did ease up and it wasn't as serious as I thought... :2 cents:
Maybe luongo didn't stand on his head in game 1, but he did make all the saves he needed too... the Canucks defense was STELLAR.. T. Thomas did stand on his head, did make the harder saves, and kept his team in the game, I don't blame Thomas for giving up that goal, it was a great play by Kessler and the B's D wasn't set for the play..
I agree with you Mauser, Rod, about what you posted in regards to the game, you both make great points. :glugglug:

What can I say...It sucks to be Boston...and Tim Thomas right now! I'm TOTALLY for the Canucks....but that was one helluva sorry ass finish! Loving it.....BUT, still a sorry ass finish. Thomas was WAYYYY too aggressive & nobody had his back and they paid for it big time! 11 seconds....Hell I barely sat back down and it was all over!
Don't want to jinx them....but it's looking pretty good that Vancouver will FINALLY get their first Cup!
