You know that you have a home field advantage when the field itself tries to eat the opposing kicker.

Blowing a 17 point lead with eight minutes left in the fourth only to hang on and win in overtime. Not sure if I should be concerned or encouraged. Anyway, Cardiac Cats continue to roll.

They played against a HOF QB last night. They have won 11 straight regular season games. They're for real. I think they were demoralized by some bullshit calls. The one late Indy TD was clearly offensive pass interference. Good teams find ways to win the ugly games. The rain didn't help either team. Would have loved to see them pull the trigger on a receiver before the trade deadline.. Ted Ginn has got to start catching some passes. Josh Norman is the best corner in the game this year.

I think they can beat the Packers if their pass rush is on

What pisses me off about Cam is he has the talent to dominate, but he doesn't. In the second half against Seattle, he threw the ball with purpose, was accurate, and played with an attitude. Against the Colts, it looked like he thought he could get by with 80%. Until he plays like Brady, Rodgers, Manning, every week, the Panthers are going to lose some games they shouldn't. Come playoff time, he needs to bring it. Would love to see it, but won't be holding my breath.

I agree with this. No killer instinct when it comes to putting games away. That fumble at the goal line hurt. I don't think it would have happened with Kalil as center. Brady will blow you out by 40 if he can. Cam needs to have that mentality.

Some truth to all of this but we also must remember that Cam runs the plays that are called and this coaching staff goes utlra-conservative if they go up by two scores. The coaching staff could benefit from some killer instinct also.

Half-ass throws to Ginn where he doesn't follow through, missing on too many passes. He was amazing in the Seattle game. He is capable,he needs to show it. If he does, I may break out my Dan Morgan jersey.

I'm no QB coach, but just as a casual observer, something always looks off with Cam's throwing motion. It's like it's all upper body or something.

Whatever, 7-0.

I think someone needs to hang a banner that reads " War Damn Eagle!" and Cam will think he is playing either Florida, Alabama or LSU and he goes off every game .

8-0

I m preparing myself for a let down game. But I still think we can win home field throughout the playoffs.

Need to work on 4th quarter mistakes.

Every QB should be hit like this every day.

He looks so peaceful. Like an angel, really.

Looking at that schedule, the Panthers could march into the playoffs at 14-2, maybe better. Not sure I'd want to play in Carolina in January.

The Detroit Lions 18, the Green Bay Packers 16. The Lions win in Green Bay for the first time in 24 years. What’s next, Donald Trump as president?

There is one caveat however, the Packers had their share of botched plays in the game, missing what would have been a game winning field goal with time running out.
So I’m not sure if the Lions won this game, or that Green Bay lost it, but as a long suffering Lions fan I’ll take it!

Look out... here come the 2 and 7 Detroit Lions.
