okay.. what's with this updated crap...

When he didn't get the starting nod, my jaw dropped simply because they paid him all that money just to ride the pine. If he couldn't win out the job as starting QB, someone obviously grossly overestimated his abilities. Looks like he is getting the Kevin Kolb treatment. Speaking of which, the Cardinals have surprised the shit outta me for two weeks straight now. What the hell is going on? And someone please tell me that I am not the only one who is ecstatic that the Eagles lost.

At least Arizona is trying everything they can to get kolb to be good, they're given chance after chance. Flynn went into camp one day, had a good preseason game then next thing you know he's benched. :dunno:

NBC can't even try to censor 71,000 people. "Bullshit" is right.
Ravens are not my team, and neither are the Patriots, but this officiating really is lame.
I mean, it's true that the regular refs make bad calls sometimes, but these substitutes just aren't hacking it. The NFL needs to come to an agreement with the NFL refs association (whatever they call it). The fact that we will go into week 4 of this is unbelievable.

Baltimore keeping it classy, first a streaker and then "a chant for cow manure"

Well, luckily for everyone (except NE), Ravens won, or Baltimore could've had a riot on their hands. Something tells me there will be one somewhere this season if this continues. Fans get intense and if the game isn't called fairly, bad calls are made and if that leads to a loss for the home team, then shit's gonna hit the fan.

Btw, for fuck sake, NBC reporter bitch!! Torrey Smith's brother just died 24 hours ago and you have to talk to him already? "Congratulations on the win- So, it must be difficult since your brother just died. Give us a sound byte". You know damn well that she (and her bosses) were hoping to get some tearful, emotional response from him. Well, sorry vultures, you didn't get the Dr. Phil response you wanted.

I really hate some reporters so much. It's one thing to ask the guy the next day or a little bit after the game after he has a chance to compose all the emotions he's feeling, but as soon as the ball is kicked you go out and bring up his dead brother. what the hell is wrong with you

I'm a Patriots/Brady fan and I agree the officiating was bad, but I don't think the officiating cost us the game...true I think the refs basically gave the Ravens that last TD with a couple of phantom calls...but they gave NE make-up calls on that last drive that should have been enough for Brady to keep the chains moving, the clock running, and at least get a field goal,,,but they choked...called a time out on 2nd nd 9, then came out of the time out and took a sack,,,then did nothing on 3rd and long....gave the ball back to Baltimore with just enough time and you knew what was going to happen because the Patroits defense is suspect at best.... I think the Bellichek/Brady dynasty is heading toward the end unfortuntely...but I would like to see them at least get that elusive 4th ring ...however, that seems somewhat unlikey with their current roster...

I'm one of the few raven fans who is facing reality a little bit, the patriots should have been up 20 to nothing in the first quarter but the refs were doing everything they could to keep the ravens in the game. Through out the game the bad calls started to become even so you don't really know if the calls affected the outcome... All I can say is that I hate Rodger Goodell, he's really destroying this league, or at least trying. I say the deal get's done no later than the 25th of october because the 28th is the London Game and we all know how obsessed he is with getting London to love football, so there's no way he allows them to see these refs

I know, as Andron has made it clear, that this means shit and I have no life unless I'm on tv, but...

Patriots @ Ravens ---> I really hope the patriots continue with this whole "welker isn't starting because he had a miny holdout" crap, because that would help out the ravens.. And also, please Cam give rice the fucking football 27-24 (and oh yeah, tucker kicks the game winning field goal, fuck you cundiff!)

Yeah, not only did I say the titans would win in overtime, but I also said Tucker would kick the game winning field goal :angels::clap:

And oh yeah, I already saved you the trouble of going onto google and finding a picture, Andron... Here I am:

Jesus pogo stickin' Christ you're a fucking attention whore. Find in my post somewhere that I said you had no life. Never did I say that. Though you did just make seven consecutive posts in this thread and also took the time to find a picture from the Make Love Not Warcraft episode of South Park, and add your own caption to it...

What I did say was that your picks weren't worth a shit. And they still aren't. I also think you're an annoying douche bag. We'll just leave it at that.

In what universe is that a completed pass for a TD?

Not only did Tate commit one of the most obvious push offs in the history of man, but he also didn't gain possession of the ball until he wrestled it away from the Packer defender on the ground. Unbelievably bad call in a game that was chock full of blown calls and phantom penalties.

What an embarrassment for the NFL. The officiating has turned every game into a crap shoot. It's a fucking disgrace.

Despite the fact that I hate the Packers more than any other team in the NFL, I really don't buy the final call of the game in Seattle, and I'm sure most people agree. It looked like an interception from Jennings. Obviously Seahawks fans, as well as Bears, Lions and Vikings fans, won't look a gift horse in the mouth for too long.
To put it another way: The fact that a Bears fan can admit that the Packers got robbed, that says something.

Wow! This week hasn't helped the replacement Refs' status around the league.

I would love to know what progress has been made, if any, in the NFL offices concerning the real refs. The trilogy of terror has come to an end and now we're looking to week 4. The game is losing so much credibility.

I think now the team owners will put a little fire under Roger's ass to get this resolved. This was a bad call that decided who won this time.
