Same. I have Cutler in 3 leagues. I never thought I'd say this, but Alex Smith might be a smarter start this season over Gay Cutler. Pissin me off.

I wouldn't go that far, it's just one game and the Packers are pretty damn good. I have Peyton on my bench but I might start Cutler next week since he'll be going up against the Rams

Any team with a pass rusher is going to eat Cutler alive. Have fun with Detroit.

Yeah we've been saying this ever since Cutler arrived. But in 2010 the line sucked and they made it to the championship game. In 2011 the line sucked and they were 7-3 and on the verge of making the playoffs until Cutler got hurt. This year the line is gonna be so-so but they still should win at least 10 games. The point is that yes their offensive line is not spectacular but its manageable, I have no reason to believe that they wont still win at least 10 games

Most of you people are funny. If the Bears played a great game and won - big or small, many of you would've probably been quick to say "it's just week 2, this doesn't mean anything yet", but since they did poorly, then the sky is already falling.

i so agree with Moonchild22 it's week 2 the sky is not falling. everyone knew the Packers would be extra amped for this game after the niners game. the Bears had a flawed gameplan Micheal Bush should have been the featured back from the get go and to be honest the o-line is going to be bad as long as you think coaching can replace talent. btw the Packers left tackle ain't all the great either

BCT

Pucker Up Butter Cup.
Glad the Packers finally played some defense. I'm sure I'm one of the few who wasn't disappointed with Cutler or the O-Lines performance last night. :D

I was very dissapointed by Jay Cutler's performance last night...I've always been a big fan of his talent, and I felt like with the upgrade of talent at the wide-out position for Chicago, it would be time for him to step up into the elite class of QB's

But instead it seems like he took another step backwards towards mediocrity and inconsistancy...You would think he would have had something to prove in Green Bay since Aron Rogers basically owns him, AND stold a trip to the Superbowl from him...but instead he comes out and has one of the worst games of his career...

He's starting to get the reputation of not showing up in big games/statement games...and at this point I'm beginning to wonder if he'll ever be the player I thought he would be.

Jesus, it's only one game.

Jesus, it's only one game.

Green Bay /Chicago is a rivalry game older than Dallas/ Redskins..As a Redskin fan I know these games are not just another game...not to mention its a Thursday Night prime time game...the only game on so everybodys watching you on center stage...and Green Bay has owned Chicago every since Cutler has been there..

It was clearly an early season statement game..I didn't expect Chicago to win necessarily...but I did expect the game to be competitive, and I especially expected Cutler to play well...For him to be indecisive/holding the ball to long, struggling making his reads, and not knowing how and where to distribute the ball was inexcusable at this point in his career if he wants to be considered anything other than mediocre.

The game was a joke, Green Bay didn't even play that well and it was still basically a blow-out.

I'm going to wait to see how they do next week. Sure, it's only the Rams, but I just want to see how Jay and his O-line cooperate together after the way he flipped out on them at Lambeau.
I can deal with the defense having a few hiccups and allowing those holes for Rogers to pass straight through, because they can work on tightening that up. I can deal with the occasional fall on the O line, because they will improve. Jay Cutler can do his job very well, and can be great - but, he seems to have issues in the psychological department. As the QB, you are the leader and need to keep the 'can do/will do' attitude in the minds of his teammates as well as kick them in the ass and get them going. He failed to do this in the right way. Instead he got all pissed off in a panic, bumped into his teammates, yelled at them, got himself worked up and rushed himself into passes that no pro QB in their right mind would've passed. It actually was his worst game ever.
They are watching tapes today and addressing these issues like they're supposed to. You can't do a game this bad and not learn from it.
This is only the middle of September. Game 2 does not a season make.

As far as Cutler goes, why do people, every single year, forget that Jay Cutler is a shitty QB? At the start of every season, there are people convinced Cutler is going to finally be good, and he never is. So the guy can throw the football 80 yards, big deal. This is his 7th year in the league and he has never done anything of any significance. He has only thrown for more than 4,000 one time in his career, he only has 31 more TD's than interceptions (117/86) for his whole career which is pretty terrible, and when you put that TD/INT stat up against guys like Aaron Rodgers 135/40, Drew Brees 284/148, Tom Brady 302/115, and even Philip Rivers 164/78 you begin to see the picture that Cutler is just not that good of a QB, and never really was. He gets sacked something like 30 times a year on average, you can only blame that on the OL for so long (and how do you explain the rushing successes of the Broncos and the Bears, but Cutler gets sacked like its a paying position), he's never had a passer rating higher than 88 for a full season, with a career average of 83.9 which is good enough for 30th place all-time, he's only 4 games over .500 for his entire career, he's made the Pro-Bowl only 1 time in his career, and he's only led his team to the playoffs 1 time in his entire career. He's not even a good quarterback, let alone an "elite" quarter back.

Just got back from a Skins party a while ago...RG3 was as good as advertised, but football parties are ALOT better when your team wins...and oh yeah.....the refs tonite SUCKED !

Nighty night, Detroit. Where are these high powered offenses I kept hearing about?

Wtf happened to NE and Baltimore?

yeah nice bounce back by Luck. high powered offense's are being strangulated by the refs who do not call the 5 yard contact rule. WR and DB's are playing under college rules right know where contact is permitted other than interference.

I've said it before and I'll say it again... I fucking hate Cam Cameron :dislike:

So does everybody else in baltimore now, you turn on a sports radio network and 2 out of every 3 callers are bitching about how terrible cameron is and how he needs to get fired.. Let it be know I've been saying it the past 2 seasons and now everybody is just realizing it... :bang:
