NFL '11 Season Thread

Looks like this will be a good thanksgiving. The lions/packers game should be great, I'm already pumped up for the raven/49er game, the cowboys/dolphins game could be good if dolphins show up again.

Pucker Up Butter Cup.
I'll never forget the Leon Lett game, that was classic. Lets hope for another good Cowboys/Phins game.

Lol. The Cardinals QB situation.

They woulda been best off building on a secondary of Adrian Wilson, Patrick Peterson and Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie, and tanking with John Skelton at QB in anticipation of picking up Andrew Luck (or worst case scenario, Robert Griffin/Landry Jones/Matt Barkley) in the draft. Instead they'll spend the next 5 years in mediocrity with Kevin Kolb at the helm, while keeping one eye on the QB market.

Cutler is out 6-8 weeks with a broken thumb on his throwing hand. Yeah I'm depressed now. The season was going so great for my Bears now it looks over.

I still think they can slip into the playoffs. And by then, Cutler should be back. Outside of GB-SF-NO, I think it's up in the air in the NFC, and Matt Forte is still around.

So which team with the backup QB finishes with the better record? Houston or Chicago? They're both 7-3 at the moment.

I'm taking Houston, just because of their remaining divisional games. They should still walk into the playoffs by winning their division. Chicago has a favourable schedule too, but with Detroit right behind them, Atlanta, Dallas and the Giants all fighting, Chicago could easily miss the playoffs. Winning the division is out of the question.

hahahahahaha, remember when the Lions went 0-16 in '08? we are sorrier than those mothafuckas. hahahahahahah This is awesome. It's tough being a diehard though. We've all been in this guys spot.

dang i was glad philly won monday night..i had this guy on suicide watch lmao....reminds me of the year bama had to fake punt to beat tulane...im so mad im saying..i wished they hadnt made the mothafucka!!pittiful...

not a good time to loose your starting qb..worst is hes gotta broke thumb...never be the same again,, and i was a bears fan till 1985 also a big walter payton fan...he is why i no longer like the bears one of the toughest RBs of all time..busted his ass for the bears...and they let that big fat fuck score the touchdown that should have bee walters in the super bowl..= bullshit

New York Giants @ New Orleans

Green Bay @ Detroit
Miami @ Dallas (Cowboys will win the East. As I said a while back, this is the best team in the division.)
San Francisco @ Baltimore (If SF wins this one, I'm completely sold on them.)
Minnesota @ Atlanta
Tampa Bay @ Tennessee
Arizona @ St Louis
Carolina @ Indianapolis
Cleveland @ Cincinnati (Anyone ever heard of Cleveland's RB? Or can spell his name?)
Houston @ Jacksonville
Buffalo @ New York Jets (Wtf has happened to the Bills? They went from arguably the best team in the AFC to one of the worst.)
Washington @ Seattle
Chicago @ Oakland (Although I wouldn't be surprised of Forte ran for 200)
New England @ Philadelphia
Denver @ San Diego
Pittsburgh @ Kansas City
New York Giants @ New Orleans

Makes sense to me for the Bears to sign Kyle Orton. I don't see the Colts signing him, what's the point of signing a guy for 6 weeks? Just to risk losing out on Andrew Luck? Same situation with the Rams. Only a desperate contender would sign him (Chicago, Kansas City). I think Houston likes Leinart, so they're sticking with him. I think Denver and Orton still have mutual respect for each other, so I don't see him signing with KC. So that leaves the reunion in Chicago.

Ravendude wins the picks going 11/14. Good job!!

Niceness!

Green Bay @ Detroit <-- I want the packers to lose, but it just isn't going to happen...

Miami @ Dallas <-- Well, Miami.. I hope you're happy with matt moore instead of andrew luck...

San Francisco @ Baltimore <-- I feel like week 11 should have been the bye for these two teams, unfair for the 49er's to have to travel all the way to the east coast on a short week..

Minnesota @ Atlanta <-- I still don't believe in the falcons, but no peterson? Not even close..

Tampa Bay @ Tennessee <-- this is a tough one to call, but I guess I'll go with the bucs

Arizona @ St Louis <-- hey ram's coaching staff, do you see what happens when bradford has a receiver? Took you long enough

Carolina @ Indianapolis <-- Not even ccarolina can give up a big lead on the colts..

Cleveland @ Cincinnati <-- bengals are going to be very good in the next couple years

Houston @ Jacksonville <-- I think leinart is going to have a good game

Buffalo @ New York Jets <-- I didn't really believe fitzpatrick was all that good..

Washington @ Seattle <-- Grossman back to pass.. Oh and it's interecepted! For the 3rd time today!

Chicago @ Oakland <-- I don't think this hanie guy is going to do to good.

New England @ Philadelphia <-- The patriots will score more than 10 points, unlike the giants

Denver @ San Diego<-- Come on san diego, it isn't that tough to shut down tebow..

Pittsburgh @ Kansas City <-- what an ugly game..

New York Giants @ New Orleans <-- finally! A good monday night game.. It'll be interesting to see if bradshaw plays..

let's see how some of my statments went..

Jacksonville vs Cleveland <-- wow, this is just bad... Well, here we go Ogbannayaas, or whatever that running back's name is

115 yards, one TD

Seattlevs St Louis <-- lynch!

88 yards, one TD.. Enough to win the game for them..

Arizona vs San Franciso <-- I don't know which game is going to be more one-sided, this or green bay...

Turns out that this was..

Tennessee vs Atlanta <-- I don't think Johnson is 'really' back..

12 rushes, 13 yards... That's why they pay him the big bucks, good job CJ2K...

Green Bay @ Detroit Thanksgiving in Detroit means something again
Miami @ Dallas
San Francisco @ Baltimore I am still distrustful of Baltimore
Minnesota @ Atlanta
Tampa Bay @ Tennessee The Bucs season is going down the drain really fast
Arizona @ St Louis
Carolina @ Indianapolis They have to win some time dont they?
Cleveland @ Cincinnati
Houston @ Jacksonville
Buffalo @ New York Jets
Washington @ Seattle Can the Seahawks really lose to the Redskins?
Chicago @ Oakland
New England @ Philadelphia Should be a good game
Denver @ San Diego I care no more about Charger losses, every loss from here is one more step towards firing Norv Turner, which would make me happy as a lifelong fan who does not love Norv
Pittsburgh @ Kansas City
New York Giants @ New Orleans
