Of course it's ridiculously expensive, but I am assuming all of you saying this live in your teams market. If you're a transplant fan such as myself, you have no other choice. Without Sunday Ticket, I'd only get to see the Raiders maybe 2 or 3 times a season, and that's only cuz San Diego and Denver get fairly good coverage on CBS out here.

Exactly! I would never get to see the Rams here in Houston if I didn't have Sunday Ticket. It's a godsend for displaced NFL fans.

Saint's defence SUCKED last night vs. the Texans. I know the have a good offence but WTF.

How about giving a little credit to the Texans for a change? They were outstanding. The O-line was terrific as their running backs ran at will against the Saints. Plus, Wade Phillips' influence has already made a dramatic difference in the way the defense is playing. They made Brees and crew look less-than-average and that ain't easy. Hopefully, we're looking at a playoff team for once here in H-town. It's about time.

Opinions on the 5 or worst offenses in the league this year.
Mine:
1. Cincinnati
2. Carolina
3. Washington
4. San Francisco
5. Seattle
Does that sound about right? Any big discrepancies or glaring omissions?

Go to a sports bar or something. Also, look into online options. Fairly certain you can stream stuff and it is probably far more reasonable than those swindlers DirecTV.

$340 for NFL sunday ticket is nuts...i'll stick to ESPN/Fox fuck that!

Wow...I'm shocked to hear it's that expensive in the U.S. Here in Canada I'm only paying $159.80 for the Sunday Ticket package through the local cable company.

 Sports bar? So I can put up with all kinds of noise, cigarette smoke and pay $5 for a beer? No thanks. I'd spend way more than $340 over the course of a season. Stream it online? Yeah, sure. Me and 3 buddies huddled around a 19" computer monitor when we could be relaxing on the couch in front of my big screen? I don't think so. :1orglaugh

QBs are important. :2 cents:

Rig that bitch up to your big screen. S-Video or some other sort of jack should allow you to. I know it sounds different but whatever. I'm just throwing ideas out there. If you're making a grand a week buying the package wouldn't be much anyways.

Not to mention that the broadcast they have streaming over the internet probably isn't as reliable. I can just image somebody with bad luck missing the moment of the year because their connection cut at precisely the worst possible moment out or there was some weird hiccup in the system somewhere.

Miami maybe? Otherwise, a great list.

I'll add my Bears to that list. Last year they ranked 30th in total yards. The last time they ranked in the top ten was 1999 and the last time they ranked in the top half was 2006 when they came in at 15th. Hopefully Martz can change things and at least produce a decent offensive unit

I have a large HD TV and surround sound for a reason. And that reason is football.

Son of a bitch.

LOL

Buffalo, Jacksonville, Oakland, and Cleveland are candidates. But your list seems reasonable.

Oakland ain't a candidate son. We scored over 400 points last year. McFadden and Bush are the best RB tandem in the league. Campbell really improved as the season progressed. This despite a clueless coach, who has since been replaced by an offensive guy. Our problem is red zone offense.

I agree with you on Cincinnati. They were poor enough as it was, and now that they've lost their biggest weapon (Ochocinco) they will probably drop down to the bottom. I don't think the Bengals will win many games this season. I also agree on San Francisco and Seattle, and chances are their division mates St. Louis and Arizona won't be much better. Carolina will probably be weak on offense as they rebuild, but I don't see them ranking in the bottom 5.

The only one I disagree on is having Washington in there. Maybe it's because I'm a homer (I live in the DC area and watch every Skins game), but I really don't think they are going to be that bad offensively. Tim Hightower has been one of the most impressive running backs during the last couple of weeks, and I fully expect that to carry over to the regular season. We also have a true blue fullback in Darryl Young, which can only help things. The offensive line is looking a lot better than 2010, to
o.

As for omissions, how about the Buffalo Bills?
