Denver wont draft a QB till at least the 3rd Rd and hed be the backup. And Clausen is THE best QB prospect out there, he wont be on the board long enough. Its too bad my Raiders stupidly traded away their pick for a 30 yr old DL w/o a position past his prime or we coulda had Clausen.

I'm not saying Denver is going to draft Clausen with their first pick, I'm just saying it's a possibility. I say Denver goes WR or just best available.

I actually think Bradford will be the better pro, but there is Weis-McDaniels connection, so it's a possibility they move up to get Clausen. Did anyone think Mark Sanchez would be a Jet?

Also, people aren't that high on Clausen. Matter of fact, people aren't that high on any of these QB prospects.

uhh... kinda. The Trojans wern't nearly that extreme, nor, had nearly that NFL talent.

I don't think anyone compares to the Canes.

Really please explain don't get me wrong thaose were some outstanding tams but you know players get bigger,stronger,and faster I mean there have been a lot of great teams since then 99-Flordia 00-Oklahoma 05-USC but like you said they were talent but I mean what else :dunno:

Sure, the Trojans and Gators dominated the 2000s, but they didn't have near the "swag" or talent like the 80s,90s, early 00 Miami teams. I'm not saying USC doesn't have swag or talent.... but they're not even close to "the U" level.

When you drafted a Hurricane, not only were they a lock, but a superstar. You cant say that about USC. Though, these 2009 rookie USC linebackers are studs.

I'm not going to contend/defend my Trojans in the NFL since Pete Carroll came to SC. I'll deal with that some other day. All I'll say is I wouldn't give up on Matt Leinart yet. Some team will try to trade for him. I remember Rob Johnson turned out to be a decent QB for Buffalo and he was garbage for SC. Cassell didn't even take a meaningful snap and he's played pretty well for a completely horrific Chiefs team. I bet Carolina, Tampa or Cleveland will trade for Leinart.

I bet the Patriots will do something dramatic on draft day.

I got my eyes on the Dolphins. They are only a good draft away from being the next Chargers, imo....

Colts vs. Chargers in the AFC Championship game.--If the Bolts can stay reasonably healthy, and that's a big IF with significant pains at OL, DL and LB positions, they can contend. They have momentum, they have grit, and they have Shaun Phillips--if his ankle holds up. Rivers is the perfect kind of QB to derail a Goliath...no frills, just results. Kind of like Elway was in his last two seasons. Hurting on O-line, the front office just signed center Eric Ghiaciuc from the Bengals. Yet, they have won 10 straight...make it 11 when they beat the hapless Redskins a week from today. My grampa always said "Never bet against a streak." Wise old dog, he was.

On the other hand the Steelers still have a small breathe of life and the Patriots inch closer to the show. And the Green Packers are in the playoffs!!! Great! :thumbsup: I wonder if they'll meet up for a third round with the Vikes? That could be great if they were to meet once more somewhere down the road IMO!
