The Nets weren't fucking around last night.

Also, just read that when the Thunder were shopping Harden, Colangelo turned down an offer based around Jonas. Interesting.

But the Bulls sure were.
I'm not expecting a lot out of them. Honestly, I was surprised that they even made it to the playoffs.
I'm sorry to say that the NBA playoffs are pretty boring and predictable. We all know it'll more than likely come down to the top 2 seeds in each conference, so unless your team is one of them, I just don't see the excitement.

I think any of the top 5 seeds in the West could make it to the Finals. Miami is the only threat in the East.

Good game by Chicago. It's too bad Rose can't play. What's the deal with that anyway? Iman Shumpert suffers the same injury on the same day and he was back in the Knicks lineup 3 months ago. Rose was cleared to play in January. Meanwhile, Noah, Deng, etc are playing hurt and toughing out the season. I wonder what their opinion of the situation is.

Fucking suspect. Never mind his mates, what do the fans think about that shit...

Icecold hasn't been around lately...

I don't question D.Roses desire to play. Honestly the guy seems to love basketball more than almost any other pro-ball player I've seen, and he has nothing whatsoever to gain by sitting out. I think that because of the ultra-athletic way he plays the game, he doesn't want to come back untill he's re-gained 100% of his MVP form. The pressure and expectations are much less on a guy like Shumpert who is basically a role player, so I think it was easier for him to comeback earlier and ease his way back into the rotation.

The question I have is will D.Rose EVER be 100% of the guy he was before the injury, and if not, can he modify his game to still be an effective/All-Star caliber player again in the NBA.

Well so much for OKC being a title contender now. They will survive this round but the West belongs to the Spurs/Clippers in '13.

Poor Westbrook. What a terrible break for OKC.

Lakers are done.
Celtics are done.
I thought Denver would handle Golden St, but the Warriors are up 2-1.

Earlier this season, Metta World Peace returned from the same injury in just twelve days. Westbrook is younger and therefore could very well heal even faster. The Rockets are no threat to the Thunder with or without Westbrook. And I'd say that they still match up well enough against the Grizzlies/Clippers in the second round with or without him too. It'd be tough, but I wouldn't count Westbrook or the Thunder out. However, even if they win the West, it's gonna be the Heat again. We all know it... moving on...

What a fucking game. 3 OT win, I can't believe the Bulls took that game. A run would be awesome especially since Rose missed the entire year but you're right nobody is beating the Heat this year.

Read yesterday the Raptors want to try and get Phil Jackson. I loled.

Seems like that was Howards last game in L.A. Morey is licking his chops.

Golden State up 3-1 on Denver. Curry is....really good.

Yeah, the Lakers are out, but ESPN is still covering them as if they are still THE team. I wish they would get their mouths off of L.A.'s dicks and talk about something else.

The Bulls. I think these few days off will help them to get rested and refocused. The home court advantage will help, too. It just sucks that Mondays loss in Brooklyn probably gave the Nets their confidence back. I really hope the Bulls get Kirk Hinrich back on Thursday. He is a huge part of why they are in the winning position now. Nate Robinson, too, but they really need both of those guys.

Between the Lakers and Tebow, ESPN has lost so much credibility. They are catering to the whims of surveys instead of doing journalistic work. Tell me about what is coming up and what happened to relevant teams and people. The Lakers and Tebow are not relevant right now.

Lakers can't beat any teams without Kobe. So If Thunders couldn't do something better than last year Miami gets the Finals again.

Phil may be back with LAL if Jeanie takes control...but who knows, seems like a big dysfunctional soap opera with the Lakers out in La La Land right now. http://www.stableytimes.com/news/kobe-bryant-and-la-lakers-need-jeanie-buss-to-call-phil-jackson/

The Lakers might be the most appealing team to him for that reason. Apparently he wants to go to a team that he can build into a contender. Lakers might fit the bill if you go by this season, and I'm willing to bet that the Lakers see him as the best answer to getting their team to gel like they were expecting.

With Kobe's injury , Dwight's emotional problems, and Nash's back problems, I think Toronto arguably has a better, younger more talented core roster than the Lakers...If anybody could turn Toronto into championship contenders, Jackson certainly could...

But yeah, I would think that the Lakers would be his first choice considering his history with the Lakers, and the fact that he is engaged to Jeanie Buss, but with the Jim /Jeanie power struggle brewing, who knows what may happen...

The main issue with Phil is still that he covets a position with more power, control, and ownership interest...similar to what Pat Riley has with Miami...alot of teams won't give him what he wants, and make that type of investment towards winning, although I think he definately deserves it, and I would LOVE to see him with my Wizards or Celtics.

Phil could also potentially have another job opportunity right in his own backyard though, because Vinny Del Negro should be out with the Clippers if they lose that Memphis series. Blake Griffin got injured because Vinny mis-handled his star player by working him too hard in Practice during the Playoffs, a time when most teams are just doing walk-thrus, then Vinny compounded his error by not reporting the injury to league officials before pivotal Game 5 against Memphis, and Blake further injured himself during the game. If Blake can't make it back from his high ankle sprain and/or they lose this series, Vinny is probably done with the Clippers. http://fansided.com/2013/05/01/los-...iffin-may-miss-game-6-with-high-ankle-sprain/. Phil Jacskson could do wonders with the talent on that roster, and it would be perfect payback for Jim Buss who screwed him over.
