Not really. It's probably a lot closer to say that for every radical Christian there are probably thousands of Muslim extremist. While every religion has it's loonies and it's extremist, as a portion of their number, those of Islamic faith have a much greater amount of people like that. If it was a few bad apples spoiling the bunch it would be one thing. When it's a whole systemic, cultural, statehood, national, and ethnic problem tied in with their religion that involves enormous chunks of those people involved it's another thing. Out of all major religious groups of people in the world, despite all of them having faults, Islam is by far the worse in the modern age.

Also I personally think that in Islam, the woman is somewhat downgraded and is a sort of slave . I believe that the West is still not serious about fighting Muslim militants and terrorists because they are providing governments reasons to grow stronger against their publics like never before.

To fight Muslim militants you'll have to fight and root out the ideology behind it and that ideology is Wahabism. And the source of that ideology is Saudi Arabia which is like best buddy of USA. A Saudi named Abdul Wahab was the one who came up with this ideology and was a close friend of the patriarch of Saudi royal family, the late King Saud.

Being a holy land for all Muslims, some Muslim countries have demanded make Saudi Arabia an incorporated free state taken care by a governing body comprising representatives of all Muslim countries. In my opinion this is the only way to oust Saudi regime and put a cap on the source of Wahabism.
