If you have Italian family then you know all about Grappa! It’s a liqueur made from the skin of the grapes and it is STRONG stuff! Older Italians put it in hot tea when they’re sick
and it always comes in those awesome blown glass bottles. I had this in Amalfi in Italy and it still lingers in my mind, so I decided to give it a go. We don’t have the quality fruit that you get in Italy, but it turned out pretty amazing anyway!
What You’ll Need:
1 shot grappa
strawberries
blueberries
blackberries
whipped cream
pomegranate seeds

They were really good. I made them for my family and everyone really enjoyed them. My mother and father were so glad to eat homemade mashed potatoes again, they had not made that since i was a kid.
Home made mashed potatoes are the best. Put in a half cup of sour cream when you mash them. Gives them a nice flavor.
anyone else notice how certain people stopped posting here once the contest ended? it was daily up to the final day...and not once since. I guess you gotta get votes however you can lol
im confused. do people really use those dried potato flakes? there really is no excuse.
I am guilty of having a box in the house. If I don't feel like a baked potato they are ready in the time it takes to boil water. Beware of the brand you buy. Some come out so gummy you can tile a bathroom with it.
Im ok thanks. going to a friend's wedding today that's on the beach which should be nice. weather is perfect and I'd rather be on my boat, but there's always tomorrow right?
