Israeli Attacks Gaza Strip, Killing 200+

This is just the beginning. I'm not that amazed by the land attack. Israel will wipe Gaza out of the maps. Thanks to Hamas fuckers, they are using innocent people as the shield. Gore fest begins. :(

The continued carpet bombing of Gaza is absolutly disgusting, what do the Israelis think in doing this they are going to do, change the minds of those moderate Palistinians which would result in a regiem change, No it is not the only thing this continued abuse of power is giving adequate propaganda to all those extreamists and in turn is going to lead to many more of those moderates running towards them.

Israel has the right to retaliate of course it does, but you would think they would show a little more restraint. Blindly bombing anywhere they can see is the actions of a group of thugs. The Israelis are dropping leaflets over Gaza telling those innocents who are getting in the way of the bombs to leave, well, where are they supposed to go? There is no where to go!

Great post, man.

Guest111, going back a page, you said that no information we find is going to be 100% free of bias. Correct. That's why we

Go back and read that Heritage Foundation (US conservative think tank) article from 25 years ago (I posted the link). They document how one-sided so many of the UN resolutions were where any fair minded person would have at least shared the blame between the parties involved.

It's also amazing that so little has changed in the last quarter century.

I also looked at the liberal Brookings Institution for articles THEY have on Israel. While not as sympathetic as Heritage, you won't find any that are as critical as the UN. And this is the same UN that puts countries that have, until very recently, accepted slavery on the human rights committee.
I guess I'm not done..
I wasn't going to respond to this. But I have too. I see this turning into something, and I need to say this..

What are you talking about with liberal and conservative? When did i ever even bring this up?
The whole thing I mentioned about France, was the anti-France perception that the country had because they wouldn't support the Iraq War. And Fox and the Bush administration was all over that. That is what I meant. And it was a response to something YOU said.

I'm getting annoyed, every conversation I get into on any forum turns into a nonsense discussion about Liberal Vs Conservative. And most of the time its pretty general and unfair. I hate even using those words, because when you bring them up, most people you talk to (or in the country for that matter) don't even know what they mean. I think they are just words that are used to divide people and put them in little categories so its convenient. And we are going down the path of being off topic.

And as far as the UN having countries that accept slavery. I'm not even going to get in to that (its not as straight forward as you put it). Because then we would be completely off topic.

And, I have said repeatedly that I don't always like the UN. Don't try to pin this on me with these claims..

And i have also made the point to you, that the Palestinians believe that there is a European and UN bias against them as well. It goes back and forth..

Guest111, you didn't bring up liberal vs. conservative ... I did. I was trying to be honest about my sources.

Blue Balls, Carpet bomb? Puhleeze! :bs: Carpet bombing is flying wingtip to wingtip with massive formations of large, heavy bombers. You cover acres and acres of land with bombs in one pass. This was how it was in WW2. Virtually no one does this anymore. I think the only two countries that still can are the US and Russia.

Update: Last figure I heard was 280 rockets launched into Israel in the last 7 days.

Meanwhile . . Attention is drawn away from Iran's processing plants which are sure to produce the goods necessary to manufacture small, relatively concealable, crude nuclear bombs, only to end up in, God knows how many shipping ports, ready to detonate on a moments notice. *(estimated due time - 18 months or less)

As you gasp for your last breath, you'll wonder why nobody had the balls or took the initiative to blast the f'en asshole while we had the chance . .

after all, Iran, and every other nation in the world should be able to do whatever the hell they want . . . we do :dunno:

C'mon ! Iran is processing weapons grade material for the sole purpose
of fulfilling their energy needs ! It's not as if they have any oil to spare ! :dunno: :thefinger

See You in the glow . . . pussies

;)

It comes down to one thing. If Israel wasn't a Democratic, or if there were more Democratic states in the middle east, nobody would tolerate their b.s.

It's an invasion they've just done, but since they're not considered the "bad guys" it's an incursion.

Terrorism can come from both sides, good or bad...same shit, different name.

If they hadn't pulled out and given this land to the Palestinians in 2005, they wouldn't be having the trouble they are now (rockets landing in their backyards).

They gave back control of Gaza strip a few years ago as a gesture of peace. A lot of good that did. :dunno:

Land that Israel took from the Palestinians to begin with. And they only gave back a small peace of it, the strip, which Israel has there tanks constantly pointing there cannons at. I'd be pissed off too if someone took my land and then had the audacity to point there guns in my face and tell me to "eff off we gave you something." (which reminds me of the poor Native Americans) I guess the way to get power is too knock out the weak...tomorrow I'll knock out an old lady because I have physically more power then her, pfft.

Oh, and those rockets are nothing compared to what Israel has and has done in the past week.

It's the pity game they're playing.
