England were the more attacking team, I just felt that Wales had defended so well restricting England to only a few decent chances on goal that they didn't deserve to lose, but they got the win that they needed and both teams will probably get through as I can't see Russia beating Wales.

Croatia played well again until they somehow blew the lead, will be interesting to see how well they will play against Spain.

The question is will Croatia get kicked out? Croatia fans fighting themselves is a novel way at looking at hooliganism. The steward on the pitch clearing up flares was about 2 seconds away from having his hand blown off when that banger went off.

One report I saw said there is a faction that does not like the national team leadership and will do all it can to penalize the team to punish the leaders. They were responsible for the swastika last year and another incident in qualifying. Penalizing the team would reward the faction. UEFA is in a quandry.

:nanner: Well done England, managed to make it through, again dominated the game, but just seem to struggle in front of goal and taking our chances will need to improve against better teams. Great result for Wales to finish top of the group.

The german Team won safely against Northern Irelamd amnd goes on first in our group. Poland goes as second. All good.

I am afraid the turkish team will flop out as last in their group. Erdogan will freak out.

Great for Northern Ireland progressing to next round despite losing to Germany due to Turkey beating Czech Republic and Croatia look like they could be a strong team after beating Spain, which now sets up a match between Spain and Italy in the next round that should be a good game.

Great win for Ireland to send them through. England to play Iceland in the next round should be able to win that one surely, although it won't be easy.
