It also seems like it could double as a good pokey instrument when you need to get somebody that's not paying attention at the table.

On a tangential note I always wondered why when eyeball type things are created blue almost always seems to be the color chosen. It must be that the contrast is better with the white of the eyes and the black of the pupils than brown or green.

I plan on adding tubing to it to give it more of a sci-fi feel that pays homage to Your Friend the Computer.

i dont know. i was gonna do it to get more game time since my girl takes a while to come up with another one for me.

i really like playing with her though and she does write good adventures. plus, the groups i was looking at are playing other games right now that i dont know what they are.

maybe ill wait til they run a 4e game.

So I'm a little more than half way though reading M&M third edition, and it's not bad. It's a pretty customizable system for a superhero type RPG and for the most part I like it. The downside to that is that it seems to require a lot of GM fiat, balancing, and control, or at least more than a lot of RPGs. It seems like it isn't something a bunch of people could get into and create characters easily without somebody familiar with the game guiding them, a lot of pre-made character examples, or somebody that's very table top RPG savvy already. In the worst case scenario a newby might virtually need to have somebody construct their character concept for them until they got a the hang of it a little. The top side is it seems to be very customizable without verging into the range of ridiculousness like some other RPG systems when they try to be that way.

The only way you'll learn other systems is if you actually dive in and get your feet wet.
