Don't ya wish you had some guns?

Shifty

You're damn right I am! So tell me, how are you going to protect yourself and your loved ones without a firearm?

You mean, how have I done so all my life?

I don't know if you live in The United States, but if you do....

The last time I checked, it wasn't called "The Bill Of Needs". Its called, "The Bill Of Rights". It is our Right to protect ourselves, our families, and to the pursuit of life, liberty, and happiness. Not dying at the hands of someone that has no regard for me, or the law, does not make me happy.

If you choose to NOT defend yourself, or your family, and choose to wait for the police, that's your choice, exercise it all you want, but stay the hell out of my way, and back off of my rights, because I intend to exercise them to the fullest extent.

If you do not live in The United States, then we have nothing else to discuss, when it comes to the rights of Americans

You make it sound like there are criminals poised to attack you at every turn, behind every corner.

That's just silly.

You carry a gun because it makes you feel powerful - c'mon admit it. You'll feel better.

Find other sources of power in your life and stop being part of the problem. :2 cents:

Preparedness. It's the right way to do things....because the time to think about it, isn't when you feel the knife slicing into your ribs. I think it's silly, that I read about victims EVERYDAY in the newspaper. I think I hear about home invasions EVERYDAY, on the television news. You carry a spare tire don't you?

No, actually, it makes me feel responsible, and self sufficient. Hopefully I'll never need to use it, hopefully I won't have to live with the fact that I took a human life....but I would rather do that, then die. If you have no regard for my life, I can't see why I should allow you to take my life, when MY RIGHTS, allow me to defend myself, to any extant necessary.

I have many sources of power in my life, remove your head from you colon, and come up with a better arguments then, you have. Quit blaming law abiding, tax paying, hard working citizens, for the problems created by filthy pieces of garbage, that have ruined every aspect of society, by blaming everyone else for their problems, and using it as an excuse to commit crimes.

Not much into guns myself.

I am glad that to the south of our border we have a nice buffer between us and the other countries to the south.

Revidffum and I are a solution to the problem.

I happen to like Revidffum. So I don't much care for you including him in bad company.

Fisher, you're just another swinging dick posting on a porn board... like the rest of us. Why don't you check out of your world of make believe for ten minutes and just get in tune with THAT reality? Hmm? What problem do you believe that you are the solution to? If you are the solution, I believe I'd stick with the problem. Seriously.

Over the past 20 years +/-, I have seen some truly delusional personalities on the internet. But son, you are definitely in Dave's Top 10!

Interesting question, really. Why not keep them in a locker at the shooting range?

For Fuck's Sake, People! Let's eradicate, hide, confiscate, store in lockers, all things in the world that cause death. Then, maybe we will all be safe and sound and the world will be one big happy planet. NOT!

Cars
Trains
Planes
Bus's
Sharpened pencils
Alcohol
Heroin
Crack
Reefer
Cocaine
Cigarettes
Parachutes
Bridges (so people can't jump off of them to commit suicide)
Snow Skiing
NASCAR
Indy Car
Drag Racing
Knives
Chain Saws

Add to the list is you like.

Short term memory loss??

No, as you may notice, I suggested keeping guns in a locker, and you took it to an absolutely ridiculous extreme that I absolutely did not suggest.

I know it is quoted above, but as you appear to be below average intelligence, let me restate things. I suggested that perhaps people could keep guns in lockers at places where they are allowed to shoot guns. You then said why don't you keep every single thing that could harm people in a locker. Your suggestion doesn't follow the same logic that mine does, isn't as reasonable as mine is, and what you said is simply argumentative (to the point of trolling).

See, I merely made a suggestion about firearms. You elevated it to an absolutely ridiculous level. Your argument is invalid, overstated, and pointless. It nicely sums up all of what you do on FreeOnes. Thanks for highlighting that one more time!

Hey, who wants to get together some weekend to weld our car doors shut? Then, we can enter our vehicles by taking a run at them, slide across the hood and pop in through the window. Next, we'll take turns blowing through 'Men At Work' signs and jump over ravines! We can decide our CB radio monikers in advance. I call dibs on 'Cooter'.

Just the good ol' boys,
Never meanin' no harm,
Beats all you've ever saw, been in trouble with the law since the day they was born.

Can we stop with the Bill of Rights bullshit already? It was written a long fucking time ago in a much darker time and NOBODY here had any say in it. If "The Right to punch children in the face" had been included in it, you and Sam would both be out shopping for brass knuckles, CAUSE THIS IS 'MERICA!!!!

^Be careful what you wish for....Bill Of Rights is the reason that the government cannot take away our porn...among other things.....

I'll tell ya what, you tell that to EVERY American soldier that is, or has fought for the freedoms that us "MERICANS", hold so dear. You forget....freedom isn't free. Men have died upholding the principles of that piece of paper, everyone wants to disregard as old, and useless...and take a fucking look around pal, THESE ARE DARK FUCKING TIMES! So no, I will not, under any circumstance quit quoting, or using that precious document, as a support system for my argument....in fact, it's all the argument I need. PERIOD!

revidffum, your tone and use of caps suggests that you're upset.

Do you get worked up like this often? Not so reassuring.

No one is suggesting that your rights should be withdrawn. Your 'cold, dead hand' reaction is somewhat alarming.

You consider these to be dark times? That's paranoid!

Federal law requires everyone who enlists or re-enlists in the Armed Forces of the United States to take the enlistment oath. The oath of enlistment into the United States Armed Forces is administered by any commissioned officer to any person enlisting or re-enlisting for a term of service into any branch of the military. The officer asks the person, or persons, to raise their right hand and repeat the oath after him. The oath is traditionally performed in front of the United States Flag and other flags, such as the state flag, military branch flag, and unit guidon may be present.

Oath of Enlistment

I, (Sam Fisher), do solemnly swear that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; and that I will obey the orders of the President of the United States and the orders of the officers appointed over me, according to regulations and the Uniform Code of Military Justice. So help me God.

I joined the military when I was 18 years old. I took the above oath then, and I still uphold it to this day.

Yes, I'm upset. It annoys the crap out of me, when people use the same tired argument over, and over, and suggest that MY argument is invalid and tiresome. Come on REALLY. It is an important document...it means something, especially to those that have fought. Friends of mine have served, some have scares to prove it.
Yes, I get worked up often...it's how I vent off the potential stress that causes heart attacks and ulcers. What makes it ok, is I don't react in a violent way...it's the internet dude, I'm not threatening physical violence to another human in a bar, or on the highway.
Go back and read the throngs of threads on this subject...I lost count of how many a long time ago....someone ALWAYS suggests the taking away of some, or all rights...yeah, they want to take them from us, and keep us from having them.
Yes, I consider these dark times...crime rates rising, violence escalating, and on a global level. Costs of living skyrocketing, earned incomes dropping. Yes sir...I DO INDEED consider these dark times, and they're gonna get worse.
I prefer to use the term cautious....if you would like to call me paranoid, that is your RIGHT...but someone will try and take that one pretty soon too.
